This has been the most devastating and scary trip for my daughter. Booked her in on managers insistence that it is a quiet safe place!!!...as my daughter was there alone to write her exams. She could not sleep cos of the noise and then was locked out late at night (20:00)after her one exam due to someone leaving the key...

The owner lives in Swaziland and there is a caretaker who is responsible for running the guest house. The website photos are misleading. The pool was dark green, the lawn was knee high and the house was shabby. There is no tea or coffee making facilities. There was no shower curtain over the shower. Air conditioner was not operational. One...

If you are looking for a quiet, affordable place to stay near the University of Cape Town and Rondebosh center I recommend this one for you. I stayed at this guest house for 3 nights recently and I was well catered for by the manager. Keep up the good work.

I shall keep my review brief. As the owners of this establishment you should be embarrassed. The audacity to put up such beautiful pictures which are a direct contrast of the shabby at best 'guest' house. No breakfast was served. Room was not cleaned for occupation, merely tidied up. Very noisy traffic etc. Please do not make the mistake that...

My husband stayed in this place recently for business. Noisy place, breakfast was cold polony, no tea-making facility in the room, plugs/lamps not working, limited TV channels, swimming pool dirty and green (nothing like the photos!!), I could go on. Budget quality for R800+ per night, never again.

The Cape is famous for its excellent tourism and hospitality industry, the Rondebosch Guest House unfortunately is a complete blemish on this reputation. The outrageous difficulties in contacting this venue, attempting to enter the premises and total lack of customer resulted in me and my business partner arranging last minute alternate accommodation. This facility should be removed from all accredited...

How do I say this? I booked this guest house while we were staying at Vineyard Hotel in Capetown. After a great 3 days at Vineyard we drove down to Nyaru near Mostle Bay. We returned to Capetown for our last night in South Africa. To our shock, the Rondebosch had given away our room to someone else. We were...

I enjoyed my stay at Rondebosch Guest House... the rooms were clean.... the staff was lovely... but nothing stuck out as 'special' or 'extraordinary'. There were no little, extra finishing touches that could've made it a really memorable experience. I would recommend they think about adding some personal touches to the rooms and to the breakfast... to make their establishment...

We knew we would be arriving in the Cape Town area quite late, and asked a local friend to find a reasonable B&B near the University of Cape Town. The friend wrote that he was shocked by the prices he was being quoted until he checked with the Rondebosch Guest house just W of Main Road off Klipper Rd. In...
