We spent two nights at Heritage having visited some 20 years previously. Rooms and the public areas have been nicely maintained / renovated since then - the outdoor dining area is particularly nice and the quality of food was excellent. Very comfortable and well appointed rooms. We travelled with two teenagers. Things that you might want at other resorts -...

Quite special. No wifi but do you really need it? Clean and tidy cabin. Good sized bathroom. Sounds of the rain forest birds, crawling bugs and critters around you to remind you that you're quite insignificant. Swimming in the clear fresh water swimming holes before dinner. Viewing baby turtles and swarms of fish. Dinner in the open air restaurant allows...

We recently had dinner at Heritage Lodge. What an extraordinary location in the oldest rainforest in the world. The food was delicious & ESPECIALLY the Dukkah which I believe is award winning. Thank you.

I visited the "On The Turps" restaurant as part of a daytrip to Daintree River, Cape Tribulation and Mossman Gorge so didn't stay in the lodge. I had the barramundi (steak was the other choice) and found it nicely cooked and it appeared pretty fresh. The side salads were very fresh and the selection of fruits for the desert were...

This is a quaint location in the Daintree Rainforest. The accommodation is different but relaxing and comfortable. The hosts make you welcome and the whole experience with dripping rain overnight is truly wonderful. The food was excellent. this is a must stay place when visiting the Daintree area.

Had an amazing stay, the room was lovely and tucked away in the rainforest. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. Delicious food served at the restaurant and lots of walking tracks and swimming holes nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are wanting a relaxed trip with beautiful scenery.

Set in amongst the rainforest the rustic cabins are simple, but comfortable, with verandahs to sit and enjoy the lovely flowers and interesting plants. Coopers Creek is a short walk away, where you can swim in the pristine water. The restaurant serves great meals too. The grilled fish, soufflé and chicken dishes were all delicious.

Off the main road, no mobile phones, no tv, no car noise or planes overhead - bliss. There were DVD's available if required. The gardens were so lush and the restaurant was outdoors and a creek below meandered through the forest where people could swim. There was also a small swimming pool. We were given a torch and umbrella for...

very little has changed over the years since our first visit which we loved. The gardens in the rainforest, the cabins and the restaurant are just great. Such a relaxing place to be. This year Coopers Creek was much higher and the blue pools made for refreshing swimming. The pools are deep enough and long enough to do laps, if...

We passed through the lodge twice on same day,as a break in the morning and secondly to have our lunch on the way. It's an amazing location in the midst of Daintree rain forest and by the side flowing river. Food is fantastic and the spread of local fruits top up the lunch. We had Cheese Pasta and vegetables salad...
