We spent two nights here and had a wonderful time. The cabins are surrounded by rainforest and linked to the main reception with board walks. This means that you get to experience all the sounds and smells and quite a few of the insects of the rainforest from the comfort of lovely timber-floored rooms. The room was nicely and appropriately...

We spend three nights here and loved it. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they really do look after your every need and they suggested and booked us onto an amazing reef tour which we would not have done otherwise. The food was amazing and they even did us up a breakfast hamper on the morning we had to...

We stayed at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights. Two, one day trips from Port Douglas, didn't give us sufficient time to see everything between the Dtree River and Cape Tribulation. Firstly, be reminded that there is no electricity in that region, so they use solar power and generators, therefore the units have ceiling fans, no air conditioning. Next,...

We stayed at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge for 2 nights and we absolutely loved every bit of it. This small little retreat is such a magical place, it makes you feel like you are in a different world. The cabins are amidst the rainforest on a board walk and surrounded by the trees and bushes. The cabin itself is made...

Truly a wonderful place located within the rainforest. Fantastic food, an intimate and peaceful setting, and the opportunity to see wild Casowarys up-close (we did!). I love their philosophy of 'no-waste' when it comes to food/power/everything. The staff are truly lovely and accommodating - thank you!

Daintree Wilderness Lodge is an authentic rainforest retreat. With little mobile reception and limited Internet it is the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world. My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and loved every minute. The lodge is centrally placed, just a little closer to the River Crossing which is great for accessing 'things to do'...

We loved our stay here. We had the honeymoon cabin and had a wonderful evening eating dinner on the little balcony. Our other nights we ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Generally the service was friendly and helpful. The place is magical, with a wonderful atmosphere and to top it all off, we even saw Fred the...

I agree with the other reviews and think this is an excellent option when visiting the Daintree. The design means that you feel you are in the middle of the forest and very secluded yet it is only a few minutes to the lovely Cow Bay and other attractions in the area. The food at the restaurant was also excellent....

My wife and I arrived not really knowing what to expect. We were soon enjoying the natural sights and sounds of the wonderful forest.Ben and Kahlia were the perfect hosts and welcomed us with a smile and were only to pleased to help in any way they could. Our 2 nights in the cabin were unforgetable and the surrounding forest...

I stayed at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge with my three children (aged 9, 11 and 12). We loved everything about the place, especially the managers, Ben and Kahlia, who were amazing. They helped us book up a bunch of tours and made the most amazing meals. The hotel is 'in the middle of the forest', and is extremely boutique and...
