A wonderful and picturesque place to stay. We did the Laura, Cooktown, Daintree, Cairns loop with 2 other families and this place was the best. Mark and Janelle were such friendly hosts, the fire pit, showers and camp kitchen were excellent. The shop was well stocked. It was such a lush and well looked after place. We loved it! Thank you so much!!!

I camped here with my partner last night and was very impressed. Firstly the staff were very helpful, they gave us a map of the daintree with all of the swimming holes and board walks etc highlighted for us. The campsite has a shop and petrol station so we were able to buy some fresh food to cook for dinner as well as adding some of the fresh chillis straight from the bush on the campsite. We got a covered campsite which was basically a big car port with tight tarpolen over the top and mesh on the side. It was very good as it rained a lot at night and we didnt get wet at all which allowed us to only use the inner skin of our tent and stay cool. The site also had power and drinkable water which was refreshing. My absolute favourite thing is the bathrooms have mosquito screens up over the doors and vents so you can actually enjoy a shower without the bathroom being full of mosquitos like most campsites. Add to this the beautiful grounds with awesome views and this place is onto a winner. They are currently building a new fire pit area and going to be building a pool so no doubt this will be a 5* review the next time i return.

Thanks for sharing this page of your Diary with everyone. We are thrilled that you experienced our wet season weather in comfort at the campground. This is the time of year when the forest comes alive, the waterholes are sparkling and deep and the beach walks are serene. We look forward to your return visit in the not too distant future. Regards from Mark and Janelle and the team at Daintree rainforest Village.

The view from the top of the grassed hill was a perfect highlight to our trip. The facilities and well stocked store were a bonus. We loved our elevated campsite, and the location meant we would access all of Cape Tribulation, without camping in more sand. The store was amazing in its variety, long opening hours, friendly service and very reasonable prices.

My partner and I stayed here at the start of our trip across Queensland and it was absolutely amazing. The gardens were gorgeous and the staff were so helpful in letting us know the best local places to visit. The camp kitchen was set up with everything you could need and had a great sense of community there. This camp site along with the Daintree rainforest was the highlight of our trip. If you’re traveling into the Daintree I highly recommend staying here!!
