My husband and I have returned from a 3. Night stay feeling refreshed yet energised. The rainforest setting is Devine, best heathy nourishing food, daily practise of yoga and meditation and the days to get out and explore the Daintree area. We will be back and I keep telling everyone back home that they need to get up there and be revitalised by the entire experience.

My first time at Prema Shanti marks just the beginning of my returns. My frantically busy daily life of 'doing' took time to transform into simply 'being' - a challenge that with Mara and Janardhan's grounded expertise in yoga and meditation, and their beautiful kindness of spirit, helped me to meet. By day 4, I was on the balcony in the sunshine, surrounded by Daintree green, colouring in. Imagine! My business, mangoblue.com is dedicated to adaptive coping for resilient mental health. At Prema Shanti, I have found another avenue for walking the talk - it enables time to reconnect to vision, upregulate executive functioning for composure and reasoning, facilitates health benefits - including Mara's beautifully home cooked dinners - strengthens tenacity and more. If you are looking to regain sense of being to reaffirm your capacity for doing, this is the place to be.

My week-long stay at Prema Shanti proved to be as wonderful as I hoped. Mara and Janardhan have lovingly created a wonderful space where I could lay down my worries and get back in touch with what's really important. They intuitively led me to where I needed to be on the cushion, mat and in life. If you are looking for some time out to reevaluate, reconnect and find inspiration, this is the place. I loved exploring the Daintree, swimming in the stunning blue hole and spending time with like-minded travellers. This was just what I needed!

This gem is a hidden sanctuary that allows you to escape the world and completely reset your mind, body and soul. Mara and Janardhan are excellent hosts, attentive to all your needs. The food was healthy and delicious. I loved the daily yoga and meditation, and the small classes meant that Mara gave us individual attention and feedback. It was wonderful meeting like-minded guests who became friends and travel companions to explore the wonders of the Daintree with. Beautiful and clean facilities set in the heart of the rainforest. Make sure to visit the jaw-droppingly beautiful blue hole for a sacred, cleansing swim to wash away your worries. I will be back!

Profound because the host provided open and honest input into my yoga and meditation practice which has made me rethink my approach. He also provides wise insights into life in general. Beautiful because the location is sensational. Fun because of the wonderful other guests. Despite the Noble Silence - which we ended up enjoying - there was much group sharing, caring, learning and laughing. I can't wait to go back.
