We stayed at Eagles Nest 2 - this was our second stay and it was superb. The accommodation, views and amenities are outstanding. We used both chefs (Cynthia & Nick) and the food was excellent. Perfect. Looking forward to coming back again.

It's a nice place, we had 3 nights in nest 1 and the view and atmosphere was fantastic. We thought the nest itself was good but getting a little old with furnishings a bit worn and technology not quite up to date, as well as old spider webs in the ceiling etc. The kitchen, food provisions and bathrooms were good...

We spent three nights in Nest 2 for our 20th wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we were looking for! Totally agree with all other reviews about the features of the accommodation, but it is the small things that really makes it so special. The ever changing aspect of Tasmania's most majestic mountain, Mt Roland is mind blowing and the...

I requested a 2 night’s stay on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, with the request of one of the dream chefs to ensure that the trip was relaxing and to also take advantage of one of the perks that the Retreat offered – a private chef to cook for us! Because it was Easter Sunday – we were told the...

We recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary by spending 1 night in each of the nests. So glad we did. All 3 were amazing and so different. We honestly can't decide which one was the best. The hardest thing was deciding which room to sleep in and where to have a bath. Des and his angels do an amazing job to...

You could easily stay at nest 2 or 3 with children and still have privacy in separate wings of the property. we...

We stayed at Eagles Nest II in Jan 2015 for 2 nights, which we were there for longer! First impression when we walked in was WOW! The view from the living room was amazing! Mt Rolland was just as beautiful as Cradle Mountain. There is a pond in front of the living room window. Picture perfect. What you see on...

Chickens, fires and spa, but not necessarily in that order. We were charged with looking after the 6 chooks in the henhouse, and of course collecting the eggs each morning. Strangely this was the favourite part of my stay. I have for a long time wanted to have a lifestyle property which some chooks, so it was a little dream...

We stayed at Eagles Nest III with our two boys for a wedding on the property and we were amazed at how such a luxurious and frankly romantic location could also be completely family friendly. The home was beautifully decorated but it didn't feel like we had to watch the boys constantly to make sure they didn't break anything -...

Eagles nest retreat was certainly a highlight of our stay in tassie . We stayed in Eagles nest 2 where you get to choose from the asian suite - with a bamboo and normal shower, sit in bath and amazing view , the smaller mountain room without an ensuite but a very pretty view and colour scheme and the African...
