This place is wonderful mostly because most people who have come here have walked far and are grateful for anything that is relaxing and fine. We came from a ten-hour walk and the beer was the best I had for a long time.

Caught the boat from Gjendesheim - you need to be at the landing stage early say 7.30am to make sure you get one of the two boats a day that go to Gjendebu.
