Thoroughly enjoyable in every respect. The rooms were lovely, the food was good and the bar/s had atmosphere: the gardens are attractive, and the staff were universally friendly AND efficient. What more could anyone want?

Fantastic, great base for exploring Bath and Wiltshire. Bus stop immediately outside if you feel like leaving the car. Food excellent, breakfast included and also ate in the restaurant in the evening, good choice of menu, all staff very friendly and professional. Room was clean and tidy. Beautiful gardens to sit out and eat or drink. Would definitely stay again.

Three nights at the Pear Tree Inn, wow what can I say, first class in every respect. The room was well appointed and extremely comfortable, restaurant and food fantastic and the staff were very friendly and engaged with the customer. The bar was nice and relaxing and had a good choice of beers and wine. Outside the garden had plenty...

Fabulous place to stay! We were greeted with a cheery enthusiastic welcome, our room was cosy and very comfortable. The attention to detail at The Pear Tree Inn was second to none! Breakfast was comprehensive and delicious, sad we didn't have time to eat Dinner. Would definitely recommend, 5 Stars.

Booked this hotel based on location for a wedding we were attending and so glad we did. Slight change to our booking when we checked in but expertly sorted out by Natalie, who we must say was brilliant the whole stay. The surroundings and set up of this hotel is fabulous! Great breakfast in the morning loads to chose from...

Highly recommended. We stopped at the pear tree inn to break our journey on the way home from Cornwall and we're pleased we did so. As other reviewers have said the rooms and food are of the highest order and the staff are all pleasant and accommodating. Very convenient for Bath and places such as Laycock and Bradford on Avon....

Stayed with 2 other friends for 2 nights in room 8 (I think!) which consisted of a ground floor and an attic. Can't fault the inn itself, the staff or the rooms and surroundings; the were all very good!! Had food (breakfasts and a dinner) at the inn itself and it was wonderful. The place was packed, as was the...

Pretty inn with friendly staff, lovely rooms and gardens and excellent food. If you like being in the countryside but accessible then this is a great place to be - we stayed over Easter weekend and made trips into Bath and Bristol. Discovered there is a bus stop right outside the hotel with the bus taking you into Bath in...
