We've been coming here once a month now since the refurbishments and the food and service has never failed us! Amazing place, little bit quiet but nether the less we love coming here as they always accommodate us 😋

We chose the hotel because of the atmospheric looking bar & restaurant, but It had been updated to a cold, lifeless area. We intended to have a meal in the steak house, but it was empty & again without character. When we got to our room, it was in total darkness & had to go back & ask how to...

Staff member was the supervisor who was arrogant impolite and course with his language, that was in the first five minutes. Our roast lunches arrived, my meat was inedible, It was covered in thick dark gravy and the meat was curling up through this, two others of our party had the beef and theirs was the same, really tough and...

I was visiting the area for a wedding, as such the bride and groom advised us all to book rooms here as it was close to the reception location and appeared quite nice on their website. We had one room booked for two nights, a twin, and three others booked for one night, one twin, one double and a family...

I made a late booking for a luxury (their description, not mine) room for Saturday 6th August and arrived at around 8.15pm. I was handed a key and directed to a separate building which was visually quite pleasant. On entering the room we couldn't make any of the lights function so I went back to the main restaurant/bar building to...

On my last visit here, I was shocked how dated and dingy it was, and the food was dire! Not any more though - the recent refurbishment is very impressive indeed. Contemporary, light and airy. Making the most of the lovely setting. Whilst the premises are now excellent, sadly the food that we had wasn't, and still feels stuck in...

Well what can I say, been to Potters a few times in the past and after the last visit thought I would never go back. Why did I? Well talking to a guy at work who said he had been recently I argued that it could not be like what he said, so today I took the wife for Sunday...

Only criticism and it is quite a major one when you're renting a hotel room are the beds. Both my workmate and I had commented how tired and spongy the mattress' are. I'd stated I kept waking up as I felt I was going to fall out of bed. I was lying on my bed tonight and mentioned to my...

Booked this place through work after reading about the 'stunning' rooms on their website. Nothing could be further from the truth from 'stunning'. Looks like a cheap American motel from the outside. Room looks like the kind of room with would be rented by a certain kind of professional worked by the hour. Smoke alarm had a tescos carrier bag...
