This was recommended by previous people, who had stayed at our holiday cottage. They were right to recommend it. We had a really tasty Sunday lunch. Starters and desserts also good. Friendly staff, well cooked, and nicely presented food. We, too, will recommend it when we leave!

2 nights in the hostelrie. Great hotel, clean rooms, one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. Friendly staff. A good base for travelling to symonds yat, ross on wye etc. Very scenic place to stay. Wasnt fussed on the dog friendly policy because of doggy smells but wasnt a problem. Good for singles, couples and families. Would stay again.

A brilliant visit with family and friends. Their food was delicious (try the chips!) If you have a desert watch out it may be very hot. The service was brilliant. I think it has to be a great visit. I would recommend it to everyone.

After visiting for dinner during a stay in the area earlier in the year, we were offered a 3 nights for the price of 2 discount voucher, to be used within 6 months. As this expired at the end of March we decided to make use of it before the end of the fishing season - Goodrich is on the...

We arrived for a meal on a bank holiday Monday. We were to get a table and fast service by the efficient waitress, Hannah (who was great). The food was outstanding, my brother said his child's burger was the best he'd ever had! We are from the Goodrich area and will be definitely dropping by again soon.

Again we were passing and decided "ham egg and chips time", one of many visits to this fantastic, atmospheric, welcoming place, Ayrton and Andy always remember our drinks and our dog Reno is always very welcome. If you don't go to eat here you must be mad!!!!!

Stayed here as part of our south west of England whirlwind tour. Beautiful building and surroundings. Room comfy and very clean. Bar was quaint, relaxed and cosy. Food was exceptional, including breakfast. Manager Ayrton couldn't have been more helpful, efficient and courteous. Will definitely be returning.
