Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at Bli Bli Caravan Village recently and due to the Corona Virus we had to decide whether or not to head back to Tassie or sit it out there, I think it was Wendy we dealt with but she was super helpful and gave us a full refund no questions asked. it was a very stressful time for us but Wendy was amazing. Thanks again.

A quiet well located caravan park that is dog friendly. ANd for a nice walk, there is a "dog off lead" area just a shoert stroll across the bridge. Amenities a clean & tidy - Laundry & sower/toilet block - but there isn't a communal kitchen hut for general use as there is in most caravan parks. Friendly park owners.

The park, although older, is super clean and tidy. The amenities were spotless!! There are permanent vans there but all were well cared for and maintained. The owners are friendly and really helpful. Would highly recommend staying at this park. Has a great feel and especially the non powered sites as they have great views of the maroochy river.

The site that we were on was quite large and accommodated our van easily but the whole site was made from 25mm drainage gravel. Very hard on the feet and furniture. The amenities were close by , clean but some extra lighting with some renovating would be good. Good leash free dog park across the river.

Fantastic permanent guess caravaan park. The managers were so friendly and amazing, thank you. The bathrooms were unbelievable clean. We were there for 2 nights, unpowered site next to the river. A bit of road noise but really no biggie.

Lovely clean park. Owners are so friendly. Facilities were spotless and covid safe. No kitchen but we knew this before we booked. Close to shops and Dog friendly.
The sites are very large with room for your car along side your van. River at the back of park

We stayed here for one night, to go to Big Pineapple Music Festival in Nambour. The public transport in Bli Bli isn't ideal for going out (the bus goes only once an hour and not 'till late). The owner of the Caravan Village offered to bring us by car, that was perfect! He, his wife and the locals are very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean, and it was nice and quiet at night. Only downside were the showers; they were on a five-minute timer, and there was no option to pause it when the tap was turned off for shampooing.

We stayed in a cabin for 7 nights and got a special deal. It was 1/2 the price of those we saw on the coast. The cabin was clean, tidy and suited our needs as a couple. It is next to David Low Way and we found the traffic noisy between 5am to 8am only. (there is a lot of buildings going up in the area) The cabins are not next to the river but a few minutes walk away. The shopping centre opposite was great for provisions and we got take-away meals at the IGA. The managers were very helpful and friendly. We will stay there again on our next visit to the Sunshine Coast. It is close the Sunshine Castle.

We spent 2 nights here just recently ( should have been 3 ) the site is well kept and clean and if your going to be near the water ( for boating or fishing) or close to the water park it is great. There is a good range of shops / takeaways in close proximity. The only fault I found was a lot of road noise at night and a resident (of which there are many) being very vocal, drunk and shouting obscenities late at night. I didn't feel very relaxed at all and came home early so I could have a decent nights sleep. Maybe it just wasn't the right place for me. I was a bit baffled that when I handed my key in a day early ( and I did mention it) that I wasn't asked if there was a reason as to why, to be honest I didn't feel strongly enough about my dislike to just say it, but if asked the question I would have said why.

Response from Amanda P, Owner at Bli Bli Riverside Caravan Village
Responded 4 Feb 2016
Hi Janet I am so sorry that your New Year visit to Riverside was spoilt by the loud behaviour of a visiting guest. Unfortunately no-one informed the management at the time, so we could have asked her to be quiet. After investigating the matter, I can confirm that the lady concerned was a visitor, who got drunk and had no idea she was being so loud. Throughout the entire December / January School holidays we were fully booked most nights and everyone behaved brilliantly, except for this one visitor, so I can assure that this was an isolated incident. It would have been helpful if you had told us about it when you were leaving so we could have recompensed you at the time. For many reasons people do have to leave early and as the matter may be personal, we do not generally enquire. Unfortunately, you checked out at a very busy time when we had a lot of people checking in and out after New Year’s Day and so it was not always possible to have a chat with everyone. But we certainly would have taken your departure very seriously, had we known the reason why. I hope you were pleased with the Bli Bli Wake, Aquafun and Riverside camping vouchers sent on to you, we truly hope you will visit us again. Kind regards & sincerest apologies, Amanda Pettit - Owner Riverside Caravan Village .
