Stayed overnight in Cabin 4 and @$150 was amazing good value. It's rustic but clean and cozy. Most comfortable beds....just as good as 5-star hotel. Cabin 4 does have shared walls and they are quite thin. Our neighbors were pretty quiet though so we were lucky. I can't say enough about the great staff...During an evening thunderstorm ,McCall(I think) brought...

We recently spent 5 nights at a cabin at Riverside Campgrounds along with our 2 year old dog. The cabin itself can feel small but can't complain about that as it's soo pretty. The place is situated close to markets and restaurants in the area. All the cabins seemed occupied. Many families were camping by the creek that runs just...

What a beautiful place. I was grateful for the warm and friendly welcome/check in experience we had. After the long drive on Route 1 we were so glad to arrive to relax. The grounds are impressive, there's a river, a small foot bridge (I don't think it's in use) an adorable camp store with everything we needed and great cabins....

Admittingly we are not campers. Alas we pitched a tent in this very user friendly campsite with some friends who invited us. Ok, easy to find and kind of intimate and exclusive (at least as much as a campsite can be). You cross a small river and either check into your cabin or go to your campsite. The cabins are...

We just returned from camping trip at the riverside and it was an awesome experience! The place is beautiful , our tent was by the big Sur Creek and kids could play in the water right next to the tents. The Camp staff and the Store clerk ladies were both VERY helpful and nice and not at all like it...

We just stayed in Cabin 10 at the campground for our 19th wedding anniversary and at first were very pleasantly surprised by the cabins look, location and amenities. It was recently updated and has a small kitchenette, large shower and very comfy bed with down pillows and pillow top mattress and duvet. It sits at the top of a hill...

Pam welcomed & greeted us and made us feel immediately right at home for our three-day stay. Dog-friendly and pet-tolerant, the river is close by and the banks clean. Camp Store is nicely stocked, the woman who runs it super friendly, and be sure to stop and say hello to Casper, her big white puffball of a dog. Cabin was...

We just returned from a weekend here and had a great time. We had a generously sized tent size ( #16). The location was great for us as it was at the end, and right across ( but not on ) the river. A picnic table and fire pit was included. We brought our golden who was super happy to...

We love Big Sur, and really enjoyed Cabin 2 last year. This year we couldn't get #2, so we had a cabin with 2 shared walls in Cabin 4. It was still sweet, but the walls were pretty thin. We could hear the couple next door arguing all night. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the location immensely!

Very fun place right on the rushing river. Cabin was quite small but clean and beds were comfortable. we took our dog who loved it! People were very friendly and you can make a fire (they sell wood). Beautiful setting if you can't be right on ocean.
