The historic feel of this small property is wonderful, but I had the wrong impression on booking the "honeymoon cottage" perched at the very end of the Ocean View (most expensive) units. I assumed since it was at the END of the row with the best view ever, it would be more private. Yes, it has a great view but...

Great place for a mid way break on highway 1. Very comfortable bed but the bathroom is compact to say the least. Restaurant is hold and breakfast is complimentary. No coffee or tea facility in room but it is free at the shop . No tv either...free WiFi but no cell phone coverage. But overpriced too.

From the outside the cabins look very small and quaint. The recently renovated cabins are well appointed with a most comfortable bed and the coziest down comforter ever. The sitting area has a leather sofa and side chair, desk and gas fireplace. No TV. The bathroom was lovely. In the evening we enjoyed a bottle of wine on our chairs...

This hotel has an amazing location and, unlike others, I was not bothered by the steep price for a very small room. The view and location seemed worth it. Sadly the whole experience was ruined by the lacklustre and disinterested welcome, general customer service and check out experience. Our plans for the days drive had been scuppered by the nearby...

Great location on Route 1 with views over the Pacific. We had sandwiches which were very well done, not too much mayo. The service was quick and friendly. Not the cheapest but then not much on Route 1 in this area either so if you are passing and are hungry well worth a stop. I am reviewing the restaurant not...

This was a great find. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The wifi was fine. The restaurant was fantastic. Great food and wine, and excellent, friendly service. The view of the ocean from our table was wonderful. Lovely breakfast which was included. The setting of the lodge is awesome. I would definitely stay there again.

We stopped here for lunch on our way down the coast. The fish and chips were delicious as was the salad that I ordered. The portions were very ample. Prices are high just like everywhere else in the area but it was a better value. The outside view here was incredible and better than Nepenthe in my opinion. We are...

Cozy apartment, with an elegant touch of simplicity. Highlight to the wonderful view of the ocean. Awesome experience watching the wales swimming towards the north. A unique experience I would happily repeat. Unforgetable.

its ok, the rooms are small and attached to one another and the walls are paper thin. There is really not much to do in Lucia but the view in front of the room is nice. Would I go again no, its too much money for what you get and you are not really in the midst of Big Sur

A little expensive but you are paying for great service and an amazing view. Our appetizers were delicious. My steak was not the best cut of meat but everything was fresh. The ambience is fantastic. They happily accommodated my picky kids too.
