We were very happy with our stay here. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful and the cabin was brilliant! The bed was very comfortable and the room was really spacious. There were a couple of things that could've been cleaner, but all in all it was a fabulous cabin in the most beautiful area. We had dinner in the...

Took two rooms for $129 each without a fireplace and stayed for a night as a stop from LA to San Francisco. Excellent location, room was clean and spacious with a balcony. Really quiet with no TV which is good for this location, although wi-fi could have helped to keep planning our journey. I went with friends but will come...

We stayed here one night on the way to LA from San Francisco. The room was $159 without a fireplace. It does not have a phone or tv. The room was clean and spacious. The shower head was very low. My husband is 6"3' and he had to really bend over to get under the shower head. There is a...

we took the family room. 220 dollars. 60 sqm. 6 people can fit in, comfortably. Good value for what we paid. it was clean, warm. quite & pleasant. Dinner was a big surprise. excellent food with good service (may be because we were alone in the restaurant, everybody else just left). Breakfast the food was OK but the service was...

Perfect location for a week in Big Sur. Close to trails, right in park. We had 5 people. Note that the largest cabins are 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, and the front room is also the 2nd bedroom. So we all slept well but there was no common area to hang out other than the bedrooms. There is a...

we arrived late afternoon after a long drive from LA and there were two rooms available for our party of 7. 3 kids and 4 adults all family. The girl behind the counter was extremely rude and seemed to be too bored to give us the right information.Yes that's you Miss Sharon. They charged USdlr 300 ex tax per room...

We stayed here New Years Eve for the experience of waking up in the forest. We expected rustic but the lack of heat made the entire experience very uncomfortable. The tiny room heater never raised the temperature above 62 and the fireplace filled the room with more smoke than heat. Forgetting all of the other amenities that were lacking, at...

Having stopped here on my way up the Coastal Highway, I found it to be clean and comfortable. Don't expect any thrills, but for the price it's the cheapest around for what you get. The extra benefit is that you're close to everything: the few restaurants down the road and hiking trails. Don't forget to drive down the road to...

It's not the most rustic hotel in the area, nor the most comfortable, but it has the right combination of both qualities. Great hiking trails right from the premises. Surprisingly good food in the dining room. Forget the swimming pool unless you happen to be there in July.

How exceptional is it to walk and hike in the redwoods at Big Sur? The accomodation is a cabin with no frills except we had a Tom turkey challenging his reflection in our car and pecking at the bumper to keep the virtual intruder from his hens. The smell, the air and the magnificent trees is stunning. We could walk...
