Thank for the nice rangers we got a small place for our tent, despite the "campground full" sign was on. We arrived at night and it would have been very inconvenient to look for another place in the dark. Reservation is possible only 8 days in advance. The campground is within walking distance to the sandy beach, however note that...

Above average amount of room between campsites with grassy areas for kids to play in. Poison Oak everywhere on outskirts of sites. Literally everywhere! Stay on trails even down to Sand Dollar beach. Bathrooms open on some days and porta potties on the other. The porta potties do not get emptied often enough. One day they were close to overfilling....

We camped at Plaskett Creek last week. We found this to be an terrific camp ground. There is lots of space between sites. The mix of just enough sun and LOTS of shade was perfect. The sites that back to the green spaces are ideal for families (43, 29, 27). There were lots of kids playing from sun up to...

Nice location with wide open space throughout the park....loved the fact we were not on top of one another. Fun to have a camp fire and not worry about the neighbor right next to us. Draw back would be parking the rv...tough to maneuver into the parking spot with all the trees. Across the road is Sand Dollar Beach. Beautiful...

This campground has a great location (a short walk from the epic Sand Dollar Beach) and the sites are sprawled throughout a grassy meadow… we never felt too close to our neighbors and had some privacy. We also never even met the Camp Host… super chill spot, would definitely return!

My husband and I just got back from a camping trip in the Big Sur area. At the recommendation of the camp hosts at Limekiln we met in 2014 @ the Tap House during a day trip we came this year to camp. We have a travel trailer so we could not stay at Limekiln due the length but were...

Good place to camp. Sand dollar beach is across the street. Firewood is available for purchase. There is a bit of a problem with moles here. Seems like a good family or couples place that is not too noisy.

Location is superb with view over the sea and mountain. Campground is nice with many trees and grass and lots of open spaces. Toilet is suboptimal with dixies. Possibilities for bbq. we would go again! We have not seen better campgrounds along the highway 1

Driving from San Francisco to LA over 3 days, we were looking for somewhere to park up in the RV the first night (a Sunday) - we hadn't booked anywhere. Plaskett Creek was the first park that could take us, and it was perfect for what we wanted - an available site in a nice setting, with nearby beach access,...
