Stayed here winter 2013 in Rm 15. We also had problems with the AC and also had problems with the hot water. No hot water 2 of the 3 days we stayed. We suggested a small discount but received no compensation. Sounds like things got worse in Rm 15 after we left. We've stayed 3 times total at this hotel...

We just came back from a week long stay in Puerto Morelos- 3 nights at Posada el Moro and 3 at an all-inclusive for a wedding. We loved Posada and wished we would have stayed there the whole time instead! The rooms we're super clean, pretty, and airy. The beds we're comfy and the shower was just fine. We stayed...

Let me begin by saying I really researched this hotel, and found the review to be very good so I walked in with a great attitude abut the hotel. There are many good things about this hotel - you can't beat the location or price, and it is nice to have the continental breakfast included. The pool and garden area...

We stayed in the room on the first floor. Price was $65 per night, but charges $15 more for each extra person. Room was basic and clean. Only a little stingy, and the AC helps to get rid of the odor, so it is okay. Close to the beach and restaurants, but Puerto Morelos is very small anyways. Breakfast was...

The room was very large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had 2 double beds, a full-size ridge, a hot plate, a sink and a lot of kitchen utensils, pots and cutlery. And a table. It is very close to a bar and a bit noisy some nights till about 11pm. We had a lot of trouble with...

We have now stayed here three times. Once in 2012 and twice in 2013. Our first stay was pleasant enough to make us want to come again. In February we stayed in one of the suites at the front of the hotel and had a very pleasant stay. We decided to stay again at the end of our trip and...

I returned from my 7th stay at Posada el Moro in February. I stayed 4 weeks. Before I left I made reservations for 4 weeks next year. I've stayed in several rooms over the years but as we stay so long I prefer having a kitchen. We stay on the 3 rd floor and can see the ocean. It's about...

I love this place. It is a perfect place to use as a jumping-off point for exploration of the cenotes, Cancun. Playa del Carmen, Tulum, and so on. It is reasonably priced, very accommodating, clean, friendly, basic, helpful. They want you to be happy, and this makes it unusual and worth a stay.

we had a wonderful stay here and will do it again. We found everyone to be helpful. Again it has more than met our expectations. The only thing I would recommend is room safes for your valuables, other than this, it's perfect.

Dear monica m: Thanks a lot for your comments and observations. Puerto Morelos is growing and we want to improve our safety around our buildings and in our rooms, so that our guests feel comfortable and with the peace of mind about their belongings and safety. We are currently, as you suggested, installing safety box in each room as part...

With just one night to spend in Puerto Morelos, we found this hotel adequate. We had a family suite on the second floor front, which is actually three flights of stairs up. (No elevators.) It was a tight squeeze for five people. The room was clean, but traffic noise from the street and loud music from the restaurants/bars made it...

Dear Megan P: Thanks for your comments and suggestions. Indeed during the weekends other business attract clients offering live music. Although this is something that we have no control over, we also offer other rooms (single and Jr suites) inside that as you noticed offer more privacy and less noise during those times. Other than that, we hope that you...
