Just spent three weeks at Hotel Dos Naciones and we miss it already. While there the new owners were fixing the place up but it was no problem with noise or dust. It is located one block from town and right on the beach. Their palopas are free to guests and the snorkeling right off the beach was amazing, saw sea...

The hotel recently (this is written Nov 2016) came under new management. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation which includes new furniture. My room was like new. Staff are very helpful. Step right onto the beach. large swimming pool. Only one long block to the downtown plaza.

We were charged 1000 pesos to stay here when another hotel lost our reservation and it was late and we had no where else to go. The bathroom sink did not have running water, and the shower did not have hot water. The AC unit was so loud it was like a plane taking off. Not the most comfortable night....

Like others have said, not a 5 star resort. Conversely, no 5 star prices, either. What one gets @ Villas Latinas is a clean room, steps from the ocean, a block from the heart of perhaps Mexico's most charming fishing village. A swimming pool. A staff (lead by Omar) interested in insuring your comfort. Air Conditioning. Television. Hot showers. All...

Having to wait a couple of minutes for an attendant did not bode well coupled with the fact that I filled no registration card. But then again, 550 to 650 pesos (45 to 50 USD) for a place just a few feet from the beach is possibly the best deal I have found in this part of the world. Turns...

Just spend 8 glorious days unplugged from the world relaxing at Villas Latinas. It's on the beach, not luxury and neither is the price. very resonable and in a lovely location. Close to the town square - 1 block. This is a beautiful little town, not a resort - very quiet and there is soldier base in the town to...

Puerto Morelos is a wonderful town just 20 miles south of the Cancun airport. No 5 star all inclusive hotels , this is a lovely real Mexican Village. Villa Latinas is located 2 blocks from from the Zocolo, the town center. The hotel is right on the best beach with excellent snorkeling in a large boat free zone. We saw...

Great location with affordable price. Rooms are clean with beach view. Staff is very helpful. Bed was a little uncomfortable but maybe because I was sleeping in a hammock for a week before arriving at this hotel. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a clean, affordable place in the heart of Puerto Morelos.

We were recomended to Villas Latinas who by friends who had stayed there several times, a few years ago. The hotel and restaraunt Chilitos is under new management and is family run. Chilitos Restaraunt makes the best Margaritas in Mexico, and I have been to Acapulco, Taxco, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, and Mexico City. The rooms are modest, but clean....
