loved the spot. just steps away from beach, brief walk to all restaurants. assistant (Lulu) was helpful and friendly. you get what you pay for, NOT a five star, but then again, if you want 5 stars, you pay for them. No complaints.

Cons-Neglected place, dirty, no hot water, not enough towels. Sheets and towels old with holes and hair. Peeling walls and ceiling. Construction going on. Our room was adjacent to the public beach parking lot. Pros- location, air conditioner

The vibe of the hotel was great. Also, the location - really close to the beach and a very short walk to the town centre. They were remodeling, or renovating, and/or building while we stayed there. So during the day there was a bit of construction noise, but never early in the morning nor in the evening. The staff was...

Just spent three weeks at Hotel Dos Naciones and we miss it already. While there the new owners were fixing the place up but it was no problem with noise or dust. It is located one block from town and right on the beach. Their palopas are free to guests and the snorkeling right off the beach was amazing, saw sea...

The hotel recently (this is written Nov 2016) came under new management. The hotel is undergoing a major renovation which includes new furniture. My room was like new. Staff are very helpful. Step right onto the beach. large swimming pool. Only one long block to the downtown plaza.

We were charged 1000 pesos to stay here when another hotel lost our reservation and it was late and we had no where else to go. The bathroom sink did not have running water, and the shower did not have hot water. The AC unit was so loud it was like a plane taking off. Not the most comfortable night....

Like others have said, not a 5 star resort. Conversely, no 5 star prices, either. What one gets @ Villas Latinas is a clean room, steps from the ocean, a block from the heart of perhaps Mexico's most charming fishing village. A swimming pool. A staff (lead by Omar) interested in insuring your comfort. Air Conditioning. Television. Hot showers. All...

Having to wait a couple of minutes for an attendant did not bode well coupled with the fact that I filled no registration card. But then again, 550 to 650 pesos (45 to 50 USD) for a place just a few feet from the beach is possibly the best deal I have found in this part of the world. Turns...

Just spend 8 glorious days unplugged from the world relaxing at Villas Latinas. It's on the beach, not luxury and neither is the price. very resonable and in a lovely location. Close to the town square - 1 block. This is a beautiful little town, not a resort - very quiet and there is soldier base in the town to...

The hotel is a bit run down, but you can't beat the location right on the beach and only 1 block from town. It also has a swimming pool. The room were 600-800 pesos / nite. Rivaling the cheepies in town
