Upon arrival we were given a room with 2 beds instead of a King bed so we had to go back to the lobby and have it fixed, the gentleman kept trying to get us to pay to upgrade our room. We were basically forced into a presentation and promised a catamaran sailing as compensation for our time. After the presentation which took almost two hours, we were told that the catamarans were all booked up and none were available until the day after we were leaving. So we wasted a few hours of our time for NOTHING. While the food was delicious everywhere we went, it was nearly impossible to get a reservation for dinner unless you are okay with eating at 9:30pm. The other restaurants didn't seem to be open at set times and we were told wrong information from multiple employess. The jacuzzis were perfect but the rest of the pools were ice cold the entire week we stayed so we could not enjoy any of the pools. The rooms were immaculate and beautiful but we were blessed with extremely noisy upstairs neighbors who kept waking us up with banging on their floor/our ceiling. Our last night we ended up calling the front desk to complain. We ended up having to call twice because the first time nothing was done. The resort is a beautiful place and the employees were overall very friendly, but it is definitely centered around their platinum members and those willing to pay an exorbitant amount of money for things you can otherwise find at more affordable resorts.

I've been twice and will return as long as I can travel. Every Staff Member Every Amenity, Every Item of Food is absolutely Wonderful. Cleanliness is Top Notch. Rooms are cleaned twice a Day. All the staff are as helpful as needed but most importantly the vibe and other guests are 100% positive.

My partner and I recently came back from the resort on Jan 21 to get away from the Canadian Cold in the prairies and it was pheromonal. We stayed at the VENTUS section and it was the best decision for couples. REVIEW/ACTIVITIES: They had an "Adults Only" section with 2 hot tubs and 3+ large pools. The pools were average temperature (cool, because the weather was HOT). We had all access to the facilities from the other side of the resort (Marina, Ventus Ha). The family pool at Marina has a slide and volleyball net. They had activities like bike tour (bring cash as they stop in the next town- Puerto Morales), and bracelet classes, and fitness activities in the pool. The evening shows was great- they had spectacular staff to perform the show. FOOD: They had restaurants (Italian, Mediterranean, French), and the main buffet for dinner and breakfast, and a large buffet restaurant with different categories of food. Best sushi at the buffet, and the swordfish dish at the Italian restaurant was a hit from us both. STAFF: The staff was so accommodating and so incredibly kind. We lost several items and we had reached out to the concierge, and Ivan was so helpful and recovering these items. Please bring tip to tip all the hardworking staff. As well, they speak ma good mixed of english and spanish, but download google translate if you venture outside of the resort. ROOMS: Room was nice and clean- we stayed in building 25 and it had a great view of the resort and is accessible to the ocean and adults only area. Good walking distance to both resort buildings and to restaurants. COVID: Covid testing was offered on site. I don't know about the policy if you tested positive so I can't comment on that. But they had covid PCR and antigen testing. Update your insurance policy to cover PCR and if you have any medical emergencies. Downside from the resort: small bugs were found in our room but nothing major. As well, outside the resort- the hustling and tipping culture is real and lively. The overall resort was clean, well taken care of, great staff, and inclusive. Definitely recommend going.

We were very impressed with this resort. Beautifully landscaped and well cared for. The staff were all very professional, pleasant and helpful. The food was high quality and plentiful. Not much of a beach but the multiple pool areas compensated. The Covid protocal was very reassuring and consistent. The Jr Suite did not allow much privacy with the vanity and sinks out side the bathroom. The rest of the room was very nice, clean and comfortable.
