Wow fantastic hotel good and bad the bad 1st the snacks are very limited and poor at times and for what you pay the whole resort for all inclusive should be free to a certain time also a few more aircon machines around the restaurant wouldn't go a miss thats the bad if being picky the staff the service throughout the hotel is fantastic ive traveled a lot of countries and the locals everyone are so nice definitely the kind of smiles we had swim up rooms absolutely gr8 out yr room your own pool brilliant and very warm food is amazing but don't expect anything other than Thai for most of your meals but never had a bad one I can't pick out any member of staff in particular because they were all amazing thanks arinara I hope I can come back some day soon but Thailand in general ive got to say if I die I hope that's my heaven you got to go am already saving for next one we went to the green nature elephant sanctuary you must go to that one they save and look after the elephants please go all your fee goes to them you get feed and drinks as part of it there's another elephant place is where you can ride them we refused to go there and see the tigers 🐅 apparently they drug the tigers up but that's hear say we never went also went to temples and the big Buddha wow definitely a must the boat trip was with tui and was more expensive but the rep that we had bas who was gay was purely brilliant he was worth the cost alone I think it was andaras sea yacht he was with but book the tui rep in hotel for bas

How is this place not five stars. I came with family and had two swim up rooms with pool view, these rooms were easily some of the best hotel/resort rooms I’ve ever stayed in. Staff here were amazing and kept us comfortable our whole time staying here especially to the staff at the poolside bar and restaurant although I never got their names one was a man with shortish smart hair who was polite professional and funny and a lovely lady who out of nowhere offered me first aid after a pool accident ( the accident was entirely my fault and I broke the resort rules) she immediately helped me providing me with a gel which stopped the bleeding and a plaster(band aid for Americans). All staff spoke perfect English which was so helpful as my Thai is incredibly broken. Maid service was daily, great and made the room look like nobody been staying in( I’m a very messy person). The resort also allowed me and my family to check out at 5pm for a fee of only 500TBH (about £10-11) which was incredibly convenient. Meals here are amazing to and catering for everyone including me a vegan and my sister a very picky eater, the chef at the pool bar made some of the best pad Thai I have ever eaten. Prices for food and drink at the resort are the same if not less for the same or if not less of local restaurants and bars. The breakfast here was great as well with options for all. My stay here helped to make my holiday the best so far and hope to come back to stay at Arinara again.

Chose this hotel due to good experiences from about ten years ago.
We booked a pool access room facing the pool early, but upon arrival we were told that there is not one available. They offered us to stay in a garden view room (which in real life was a room facing bushes and being able to follow the garbage handling of the hotel) instead for the first night and free buffet dinner as compensation. As there was no manager on duty and we were tired after a 12 hour flight we had no option but to accept that with an agreement to meet a manager next morning. No buffet dinner that first night though because they claimed that at 21.00 the restaurant was closed.
We had a negotiation with the manager in the morning and after he had some talks with his superior we finally got a nice upgrade for the rest of the week spent there.
So the ones in charge, stop overbooking, we heard of other cases where this had happened too.
That settled, other remarks of the hotel are:
This place is a nightmare when it comes to reserving sunbeds with towels hours before eventually using them, or some times even the night before. The last chance to find a free sunbed was usually around 08.00 in the morning. Management should really do something about this, pick up the towels without people around.
The coffee machine at breakfast is a joke. It usually lasts for 5-10 cups at a time before requiring service from the staff. How about hiring a few people to walk around serving coffee from pots instead ? Everyone would be so much happier.
All in all things could be good if the problems mentioned above would be solved. The place is still nice, especially the pool area.

Firstly the area and locals are lovely. We have had the best time here. The hotel itself looks like the photos in terms of the pool and the beach which is beautiful. The big pool is heated and the swim up pools are cool. Personally I would rate this hotel as a 3 star not a 4. The reason I say this is the rooms a pretty basic. We had 2 swim up rooms which are huge. There is 2 super king beds in each room with a screen to divide the room in halves. The showers are sufficient. Overall the hotel needs an update. The rooms could quite easily become 4 star standard by adding some furnishings and fixing broken tiles and crakes in mirrors etc. The rooms are outdated and could do with a little modernisation. There were new bottles of water daily which was good however we had a few days of the cleaner doing a half job and we somehow had sand in our newly made bed everyday which puzzled us. The staff were pleasant however on the first day we did lose our son who has autism and the staff found it quite funny and made a joke of it. This infuriated me as I was frantic and it took us 3 hours to find him. Breakfast was nice a mixture of Thai cuisine (Currys rice etc) and toast, fruit, cereal eggs etc the usual breakfast. We didn't eat any evening meals at the hotel, we did go down to one of the huts one evening to have a meal on the beach and watch the sun set which was great and we found the best little local restaurant called the black box where all the locals ate. The staff were great and we felt at home here. Overall the hotel was a good base for us as we only spent a few days here and used it to sleep at night and spent the days exploring. Would I come back to bang tao yes most definitely would I stay at arinara possibly not but that is not because of the hotel itself we would just prefer to stay where the locals are.

Lovely family hotel. Location and cleanliness superb. Going on our second week stay here. Food on all meals is a hit and miss especially lunch and dinner., lukewarm . Good breakfast . But snack pool bar for all inclusive is not good enough.Often same 2 choices of food throughout the day. Also went asked for fresh coconuts at Main or Snack Pool ,the answer is NO.Coconuts. I then noted it was available for other paying guests. Minor issue not too much to ask is it for one fresh coconut is it??!!!! We are not big alcoholic drinkers either.

HI just came back after our second visit at the Arinara Bangtao Beach Resort staying there for 14 nights. the place is fantastic the rooms are well maintained and clean. the staff are so friendly and always smiling and are very helpful. the food is very good (thanks to Mana the chef). the evening entertainment was ok. i wish they would have more seating at the drift bar as it can get very busy in the evening and not enough seats. the beach is fantastic. pool is a good size. the only thing what needs to improve (you get this everywhere) is guests putting towels on the sunbeds ant 5 in the morning and not using the beds until lunch time. apart from that i would recommend this place to anyone. thanks again ARINARA will see you again. i can't mention all the staff by there names it would be unfair to mention some names but thank you once again. you have done yourselfs proud. xx

We booked last minute having travelled around Thailand. I agree with the previous reviews this hotels best features are the location right on the beach with a lovely big pool and a fabulous breakfast but there things we felt that could be improved. The pool in my view is big enough to have an adults only section to chill, relax and have a few drinks at the swim up bar but unfortunately there are so many young children who are not always correctly supervised which spoilt our enjoyment. The drinks are expensive and we noticed the beach facing furniture had seen better days with rips in the fabric. Once the early evening piped music has stopped no other entertainment so it empties out with zero atmosphere people go elsewhere not sure what the management thinking is on this point. One other area for improvement is the use of the shower facility after check out. You can’t book a slot it’s on a first come first served basis which makes it impossible to guarantee a shower I was lucky but 6 people where queuing when I came out and to have just 1 shower for how many rooms the hotel has should be reconsidered in my view. I did enjoy my stay but this hotel could be so much more with just a little more thought.

The hotel is well planned with a huge central pool area and direct beach access. The rooms are a little dated which is okay but the beds are terrible like sleeping on the tiles. Absolutely shocking we could not sleep and that was a grand deluxe room. The transport and food options are very limited as well. Breakfast was plentiful and good and be advised if you don't take the hotel breakfast there are no other options open nearby. Real disappointed in the 500bht fee per person to use the hotel beach chairs which is just crazy.The location is not close to anything and lots of the local shops did nit survive covid closures.

The room was large lots of space nice rooms, the cleaners were amazing room always made well and cleaned spotless. The staff member called Guy was amazing he is a very hard worker compared to the other staff there and very friendly.
1) no options at buffet for vegetarians, I complained on 2nd day and was told they would make something fresh for me from the kitchen the options were ONLY 3! Noodles, rice or pizza and we were here for 2 weeks! Some of the staff the more new staff were very rude about me asking for vegetarian food.
2) careful what you eat my partner got food poisson in the first week there and when we told the hotel rep he didn’t seem surprised and said I’ll note it down like we have before.
3) the pool needs maintenance chipped tiles and also dirty round the pool are there is green mould needs good clean.
4) sun beds are a nightmare!!!! People reserve them from as early as 1am in the morning and some won’t be at the sun beds till like midday!
5) the beach is okay not very clear water and no good for snorkelling we went to other beaches for this.
6) no entertainment like stated on tui!
7) also never been to an all inclusive where the drinks stop at 10pm Also you won’t be able to get a drink till 10am as well.
8) the snack la for all inclusive were extremely poor choice of nuggets and chips! And this was only from 3pm-4pm

Looking for a pleasant getaway in Phuket? This hotel offered us a welcoming experience right from the start. Arrive early, and we were invited to use the facilities while waiting for our room. For families, the two-room setup in building 2 is ideal—perfect privacy for parents traveling with teenagers, thanks to the connecting doors. Plus, building 2 offers sun all day and even in the evening, a delightful bonus!
Highlights: • Breakfast: A standout feature! Enjoy a wide variety, from traditional Thai dishes to continental favorites, all freshly prepared with great quality. Despite being fully booked, the hotel feels uncrowded, even during breakfast. • Dining: For lunch or dinner, venture to the beach (try the spot with yellow tablecloths) or nearby areas like Bang Tao, Kamala Beach, or Phuket town. Bolt rides cost just 3-400 baht for an SUV or tuk-tuk, easily available outside the hotel near Mamma Mia restaurant. • Beach & Surroundings: The beach is beautiful, with great water (though not crystal clear due to water sports).
