I previously stayed in this chateau and it is without doubt one of the most amazing places I have ever stayed and has left a lasting impression for all the right reasons. The building is stunning, the hosts very warm, welcoming and helpful. Everything was high quality, spotlessly clean and comfortable The whole ambiance of the place inside and out...

We stayed at this chateau a few days ago for 3 nights. Part of the chateau dates back to 1050 and has been wonderfully looked after. Our room was spacious and modern and our breakfasts were delicious. We were made very welcome by our hosts, Benoit and his wife who were very helpful with areas to visit and restaurants to...

Just minutes away from the highway you are in totally different world of ancient buildings & gardens, sympathetic people & service and excellent resting place for a night or longer if you wish. It is a gated community of old, beautifully restored buildings with a river running thru it. My room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious enough. Bed was...

This is lovely gem not far outside Lyon. The owner clearly has a passion for both the property and her guests' comfort. Every detail is done to perfection, without being pretentious or intimidating. The breakfast was fabulous and we loved the homemade yogurt. So sorry we didn't plan to stay longer.

We stayed at the Chateau de Tanay in the ground floor family suite (double in a separate room off and 2 singles) for 2 nights - it was a bit more than our budget allowed for but we are so glad that we spent that bit extra as the place is well worth staying at. It's a sensitive and practial...
