I would like to say a big thank you to David for making, at very short notice, the most delicious pate for my daughter's wedding. All were just perfect and thoroughly enjoyed by all! Thanks David, very much appreciated. Alison :)

Didn't plan on stopping here but hunger took over so stopped at next available place. It didn't look open from the out but once inside he setting was lovely and. Or expected. Good choices were ok so decided on sausage and mash and blt sandwich. It was a shame the Yorkshire pudding wasn't quite cooked in the middle but apart...

We had a couple of meals here whilst walking the coast to coast, so had tried a lot of other pub meals along the way and this was by far the nicest food on the whole route. Wish I lived nearer so I could go more often.

We were taken by friends who live local . The place has a great pub/ restaurant feel without being just a food place like so many modern day "pubs" . The four of us had wonderful three courses my pork belly was fabulous cooked perfectly. Given that we are looking for house in the area we will be back

Three generations of our family went to this Pub last week. We had an absolutely delicious meal, not your usual pub grub, the food was amazing & very well presented. Would highly recommend for a quiet meal in traditional Eden Valley pub.

A last minute decision and a recommendation from my daughter brought us to this country pub. We were a party of 4 and all decided on the Sunday Carvery, which is priced at £11 per head and includes a complimentary bowl of soup accompanied by some tasty home made rustic bread. The Carvery meats were beef, turkey, ham with Yorkshire...

We called in for lunch to celebrate my Goddaughter's birthday after looking at Trip Advisor reviews found this pub and could not have enjoyed a better meal in idyllic surroundings. The barmaid, Lily, was so helpful and found a table for us outside and high chair for the young child and kept returning to take our order, bring drinks and...

A very popular pub. Although we had a wait and the menu was becoming increasingly smaller it was well worth it. Due to this I had to choose things I would not normally eat and a little apprehensive. However, all our meals were very impressive with beautiful flavours. The desserts were mouth watering and unique. This is a place to...

Called in a couple of weeks ago after seeing roadside sign and have already returned. Well run and organised, good food probably more restaurant than pub quality, excellent staff. Quiet location with garden to rear and lovely views. Recommended.
