Went there today for Sunday lunch with friends. The meal was excellent and plenty of it. The dessert was wonderful. The service was superb. We stayed and chatted for ages but there was no problem and we were made to feel welcome. The price was very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Had the pleasure of staying here for one night whilst on a business trip. The accommodation was as new and bed extremely comfortable. Dinner was also a most pleasant surprise as well. Thoroughly recommended.

This hotel is so close to the M1 but in such a lovely location You wouldn't know it. The coliery houses facade is quaintly unique and cloaks a surprisingly lovely hotel. Very clean and stylish rooms. Not massive but very adequate. The staff are very friendly, professional and helpful in all areas - reception, bar, restaurant and breakfast service. Would... More

I booked the Twin Oaks following the good reviews posted here and other sites. It's ideally situated for being in the centre of the area, being close to lots of different attractions and having the peak district in your doorstep. Also it's just off the M1 so easy to find but you don't get disturbed at all by any noise.... More

Called in for lunch. Not a lot of seating in the restaurant. 16 seats was what I counted. Menu is limited. However they do a special 2 courses for £7. We decided to have a main and desert. We both had the chefs pie which today was meat & potato. It was very nice. Not a huge portion as you'd... More
