Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Paradise Island Park and Beach Resort is one of the best in Samal Island, it has a huge place and a clean soft white sand. You can book overnight or you can visit daytour.

Unlike before they are now a little bit expensive, food is not allowed if you bring food you need to pay corkages. Their rooms are nice and their place is clean. Some of the employees are not that good in handling customer service, like late serving, you need to call their attention, you need to ask again and again. The beach is nice and clean, kids & adults love to swim. But, you need to check-in at 4pm and check-out at 12:00 for overnight, with no free breakfast, unlike other resorts. The beach is available in the morning to 7:00pm, after that you can't swim in their beach. But, overall we have a blast staying here with my family.

This is a fun and relaxing place to visit when you are in Davao. The road to the port is easy to miss. The sun is small but it’s directly across from Waterman Water Supply. Parking is easy. The attendants guide you to a spot. Tip them when you leave.
The boat is efficient and runs regularly. The ride is fast. Maybe 5-10 mins. They have their own boats.
Once you get there you pay an inexpensive entrance fee and they help you find a table that will by yours for the day.
The service is wonderful. The food is tasty with a good variety. I’m American and a picky eater. My family is Filipino and loves all the food.
I got a massage there. 700php for an hour. I didn’t book it until I got there. Easy.
When in Davao take this trip.

This resort was very good for staycation since it has deluxe and regular rooms, their staffs was also pleasing to their guests. They have mini zoo for viewing different animals. It's white sand beach gives more attraction of the view. They have also their motor boat services and having their own ports from Samal Island and Davao City for the VIPs and regular guests that came from Davao City.

We were there as a family with 2 children. Without an overnight stay.
Unfortunately, it is overcrowded and loud at the weekend. You can't really enjoy your stay.
During the week it is fine.
The service is friendly and the beach is beautiful. That is why it gets 3 stars. Unfortunately, the staff and the kitchen have no structure or functioning processes. Things are always forgotten and you wait a long time for the food. If you have changes or special requests, it probably won't work. You order a beer, 1 water and 2 x coconut juice. The waiter brings 1x coconut juice, then he brings 1x water separately. The beer was forgotten and had to be reordered. The second coconut juice was forgotten and had to be reordered.

It's a shame. Would be a great place.

The Location was a bit far but when you get to this resort, you feel so refresh and excited of what you can see inside the resort. There are lots of food that tastes so delicious, a white sand beach, crystal clear water, and It will never cease to amaze you with its air-conditioned guestrooms, separate living rooms, wireless internet access, and balcony with a magnificent view of the city. Because my previous stay here was so wonderful, I chose this place again without hesitation for my visit to Samal Island this time. Almost all the staff were friendly, the environment was fantastic, the food was delicious, and it's a resort where my family could relax and have a great time.
However, one shocking reality deeply hurt my feelings. A female front staff with glasses got irritated with me because I couldn't understand her fast-paced English, and she actually "tsk"-ed at me. This is an unacceptable attitude for a front desk staff member. There are many ways to communicate, such as writing points down in a memo. If you don't want guests who are not good at English conversation, you should state that in advance.
Since I was visiting with my family, I avoided arguing on the spot, but I was deeply hurt by her consistently irritated attitude. I really like this facility, so I hope you will take measures to prevent both of us from having unpleasant experiences.

The bedrooms are immaculate. When I noticed there was no dirt on the sliding window, I was astounded. The cleaning services are quite beneficial. I'll give the food a 4 out of 5 because it's excellent. When you run into personnel, they will welcome and greet you.

The staff are nice and very helpful. The beach is nice and clean and perfect for toddlers. Its safe since they have lifeguards. I like their room. The aircon works well which is a big deal since it gets too hot during the day. It is reasonably priced, spacious and clean. The toiler is clean too. There’s also playgrounds for toddlers. We stayed there for 4 nights and we had a relaxing stay. The food is a bit pricey but taste good. Love their halo halo and sinigang. There’s also live bands during lunch and dinner. Its a very short boat ride from davao city to the resort and the boat fee is around 25 pesos.

relaxing vacation, you dont have to drive far, they have own wharf in davao city where you board a boat direct to the resort. In samal island. The staff are well trained and one of the best in this part of the country. The rooms are very clean i even checked the aircon filter. the bathroom is sprakling clean as well. they have a huge restaurant which a a variety of filipino food, the price is on the high side though. if you are on a budget this is not the place to go. i love that their jetski is one of the cheapest in the island at ₱4500 per hour. I wish they can improve on mosquitos in their property it could be from the water trays in their aviary. they surprisingly provide sachets of Off Lotion in the rooms.
