The room was fairly clean and the aircon worked very well. The beds were comfy and there were a selection of pillows of different thicknesses on the bed to choose from. They provided soap/ shampoo/ conditioner.
The wifi was good and there was good water pressure.
We were on the second level of the motel, but we could park right outside and go up the stairs. The room was generous in size and included a queen bed, single bed, table, sofa TV and kitchen area of sorts.
Reception were very friendly and helpful. We checked in around 7:30pm and they’d left the key with the club that is on the same site in a nearby building. I had asked in advance if there was a microwave in the room and they were so kind, they put one in for us! It was very handy. There were no plates/cutlery which was fine, but they provided a cutting board and a knife as well as a new chux and a bottle of dishwashing liquid under the kitchen sink. There was a little bar fridge.
The main reason for only 3/5 stars is because the neighbours had a shower at 4:30am and the sound of the water was so loud in our room it woke me up, then I couldn’t get back to sleep, which partly defeated the point of stopping overnight, to ensure I wasn’t tired when I was driving. I think there is no lagging/noise insulation around the water pipes in the wall. Having said that, I am a light sleeper.
Rooms are meticulously clean and contain all the basics. With a coat of paint on the brick walls, some accent colour on the plasterwork and a bit of a furniture upgrade, this place would easily become a boutique hotel. The only negative that I can write of is that two bottles of water are placed in the fridge, but there is no warning that these bottles are not complimentary and we only discovered this when we were billed for water after leaving. Having said this, we will definitely return to this nice little place.

My mum has a severe allergy to chilli and capsicum which we told to the waitress and yet her food was served with capsicum and then when we returned it and asked for a replacement with no capsicum or chilli it then came with chilli and we had to return it again.
I ordered a carbonara pasta and it wasn't any good. There was way, way too much cream and very little bacon.
I wouldn't come back here again if we could avoid it. Expensive, poor service and poor food.
We also dined in the bistro, great value meals, drinks etc. Bistro staff were a bit unfriendly though. Parking good, reception staff nice too.
$7 for lunch & $10 for dinner. Tony the chef knows how to cook the best roast . And the pork crackling is sensational ….
"There is a pool for the kids and the staff are super friendly. It costs just $7 a year to be a member and you will easily save that amount."Read full review
"Great members pricing on Accom, food & Bev. Comfy, homely, dated but very clean Accomodation."Read full review
