The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace Disney Springs Area is celebrated for its inviting atmosphere and convenient location, a stone's throw from Disney Springs. While the hotel's pool and lazy river are often highlighted as top amenities by guests, there is a call for improved pool maintenance and room features. The spacious rooms are considered somewhat outdated, and noise can be a concern.
The service garners compliments for friendliness and professionalism, despite a few reports of inconsistency. Cleanliness generally meets guests' approval, though experiences vary. The main sticking points for many travelers are the high costs associated with the stay, including parking and resort fees.

Detailed Reviews
I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I had no issues with my room and all of the staff I encountered were very accommodating. Everything was well maintained and clean. The location to Disney Springs is awesome with the walk over taking less than 10 minutes on a well lit path.
I did experience an issue with their park shuttle service as we waited an hour at Hollywood after the park closed. The bus was jammed packed and the driver ended up taking us to 6 hotels instead of the normal 3. The ride home took forever so our evening ran way later than we hoped. I was messaging the hotel while on the bus and they were trying to be helpful, even offering to pay for an Uber. They hire out the shuttle service who obviously messed up.
We did not use the hotel shuttle for anymore trips and just paid for ubers or took the Disney buses and walked. This cost me more money which is unfortunate because your daily resort fees are expensive and are paying for the use of the shuttle.

For my husband and I, grandparents joining with our kids at Disney, this hotel worked out great. Kids stayed at Disney Sports but we chose to stay here so that we could have a bit more space and be closer to Disney Springs area. They do have a bus system that takes you to the parks, but we chose to use Lyft which saved us some time and was not expensive. The walkway to Disney Springs is convenient and just a few blocks on a path. The pools are very nice though the lazy river was a bit dirty probably due to the many palm trees around it. They have a 24 hour food area which serves pizzas, sandwiches and just about anything you could want with healthy options also abundant. We stayed in the Island Building which is closer to the walkway. We had a 1 bedroom suite with two patios, one with a table and chairs and one with comfortable chaise lounge and chair. We also had two bathrooms which was nice. There were many areas in the room that needed updating and others that had been worked on but very sloppy. Nothing overly concerning, just took away from it being really excellent. The people were very friendly overall. We would stay there again.

We usually stay at Disney Hotels but were unable to this time as all suitable Disney Hotels were full.
The hotel does have a regular bus every half hour to Disney but these are not always reliable. We often went by UBER instead and took 10 - 15 minutes on average.
The hotel is a ten minute walk to Disney springs.
We had a double-story suite which are in a different building and are a long walk from reception. Although the rooms are big, the suites are a bit odd in that there are not many lights anywhere. There are also lots of light switches that seem to do nothing. One of the bathrooms had two showers in it and the vanity's are very small. The room had an enormous verandah.
The pool area is heated and is beautiful. Be aware that you get a large resort fee charged. The restaurant is good for breakfast and there is a good 24 hour shop (which also sells food and coffee) in the basement.

Hotel's Favourite
Absolutely loved the Hilton. Steps from Disney Springs, free shuttle bus to the Disney World Parks, great buffet breakfast, comfy beds and great Customer Service.
We had easy check in, and was greeted by Paul. He made sure the beds were feather free as I requested when making the reservation. We were on the 20th floor. Bathroom Shower had large shampoo/body wash /conditioner amenities, Crabtree and Evelyn. There was a safe and small refrigerator in the room, with free wifi. Beds were comfortable and towels were soft. We asked for towels once and, housekeeper, Blanca was very kind and gave us more, as well as emptied our garbage. We left the do not disturb sign on the door and no one bothered us.
We were in Orlando to go to the parks. Fabulous Bus lines drives the guests from the hotels to all 4 Disney parks. The drivers were wonderful, sharing jokes and stories. They do not work for Disney, so tips were appreciated. The hotel provides a QR code to scan to make the daily reservations for the buses. Buses pick up at 730A by the game room. And then pick up comes either every half hour or 10 past, back to the hotel.
We utilized Citrus 28 every, single day. I would say this is a mini store full of: ice cream, soda, water, liquor, breakfast sandwiches, salads, lunch sandwiches, soup ( chicken was yummy), yogurt, they make Starbucks drinks, health and beauty items, granola bars, cereal and much more. Plus they were opened at 6AM and closed at midnight. We stopped in every day for something and everyone was very kind. It was easy to charge to the room.
Two mornings we went to Letterpress which was the hotel's restaurant. We had the delicious breakfast buffet. Different kinds of breads, sweet breads, yogurt, juice, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, deli meat, overnight oats, bacon, and yummy omelet station. Yelitza the omelet attendant was very nice.
Our "off" day we went to the pool. Pool towels are at the pool. The pictures on the website are a bit misleading. The main pool is directly next to the Pool Lagoon, or Lazy River. Tubes are available to float your stress away. There is a hot tub where I met some new friends. Plenty of seats, however on the weekend the pool was busier than one of the nights we came back from the parks and went in. We also had a great lunch at the Pool Bar. Sabrina recommended a smoothie, since I was very undecided.
Disney Springs- Walk is less than 5 minutes. Out the back of the hotel to the over pass and to Disney Springs. You walk in by Earl of Sandwich ( YUM) and on the World of Disney Side. Walking to the other side of DS where more restaurants are, about a 10 minute walk, however if you are in and out of shopping it will take a while.
Lyft/Uber: We didn't rent a car, so on the off time, we took a lyft to the Outlet Mall close by and to the Super Walmart to get snacks and water. DO NOT take the car service by the front desk. They say they are a taxi service, but they are a car service and charge a lot.
I would stay here again, it was a lot less than staying directly at a Disney Property!!

+1
First of all, I’d like to say that the hotel is in a fantastic location. It is very convenient to have so many restaurants and shops in Disney Springs. 5-10 minutes walk away. I was disappointed because the room was not clean, there was dust on the shelves, stains on the chair, hairs stuck to the floor and furniture, a broken door cabinet and filthy windows on the balcony. Our room was located next to the ice machine which was very annoying and made a lot of noise throughout the night, very hard to sleep with it. I expected a nicer room seeing as we booked our room a year in advance and it was a resort view room. They had plenty of time to clean it lol. I had stayed in this hotel two years ago and I found it clean. I was shocked to see how it has deteriorated. I don’t know if the problem is the cleaning staff or the management but it did not feel hygienic. The elevators were very slow as there was a conference on. We waited over 10 minutes many times. There was construction work going on at the entrance to the hotel which was also annoying. The breakfast buffet was good but they don’t open till 7am which is a problem when Hollywood Studios Park opens at 7am. On one of our early mornings we thought we would be able to order breakfast and pick it up downstairs at 6am. When I went down to pick up the breakfast the man expected 20% gratuity for handing me my takeaway. The staff in the Letterpress restaurant for breakfast are friendly but are slow and don’t even remove the plates when finished. We left 20% gratuity for breakfast and $6 for cleaning every morning but it wasn’t deserved as nobody did their job. For the 9 nights of our stay the cleaning ladies only made the bed and and left fresh towels. They didn’t come till 3pm in the afternoon which was annoying for us because we like to freshen up from the park in this time period. The pool was nice and good fun especially on a hot day. The pool bar was also very good and friendly staff. By far the dirtiest room I have ever encountered in all my years of staying in hotels at Disney World. I honestly don’t think there is any excuse for that amount of filth in room 1436. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I can imagine the hotel will be responding to our review and asking for us to contact them. I refuse to waste any more money and time on this hotel who doesn’t care about their guests. By the way we got engaged on this trip and told the breakfast staff about it who asked us for our room number to do something nice for us. But they never did!

If you have mobility issues, this is NOT the place to stay.
When you arrive at this hotel, it is very visually appealing. At the top of a steep drive, there is a circular roadway where the lobby entrance resides. This is actually the second floor of the hotel. The lobby is open and accessible. But...
There are two small areas of handicapped parking spaces, both well away from the main entrance. The first set is closest to a building entrance, down the driveway and to the right. There is a walkway and crosswalk from these spaces leading to the conference center entrance. From here, signs will lead you back to the lobby.
Following the hallways past a series of conference rooms, you come to a set of escalators. Surprise! Need an elevator? Turn around and head to the other side of the convention area, about as far from the lobby as possible.
Sadly, this is the *good* part of the experience if you are in a wheelchair.
The other set of accessible parking spaces are closer to the Island building. But there is still a substantial trip to the building entrance. This is, at least, doable in a wheelchair.
The icing on the cake is that there are 10 or 12 parking spots arranged radially along the circular drive by the main entrance, with easy access to the main lobby and tower guest rooms. Naturally, these spaces are for the valet. Heaven forbid these spaces be used to provide decent, useable parking for disabled customers.
To make the experience even better this weekend, the hotel had erected a large white tent in the lower lot. And what better place to do this than right next to the accessible spaces there, taking away about half the driving lane? Sort of an extra “up yours” on top of the already terrible experience for the disabled.
After enjoying this unusual hospitality, I asked to speak with the manager. I was introduced to Mohammed, the “team leader” for the front desk. I asked him about the state of their accessible parking, and he displayed little interest in the problem. I asked him if he would prefer me to file an ADA complaint instead. His reply was “sure, go ahead”.
This is a nice property, otherwise. If you are able bodied. The rooms are nice, and the property is clean and neat. They just don’t put much if any effort into welcoming those of us with mobility issues.

I am a Hilton Honors diamond member, so this review reflects my opinion of this location based on other Hiltons. Checked in at front desk at 11am was told they would text me when room was ready, checked again at 2pm was told room was clean but waiting for supervisor to check room, checked again at 3pm and told the same thing. At 330pm my wife went to check was told the same excuse and she is a little more demanding than me and someone working at front desk went up to check and at 3:37pm we got a text room was ready. Paying extra for resort fees ( rip off) and parking I knew about in advance, but paying extra for breakfast which is advertised as a benefit for being gold
or diamond member, was disappointing. Room was in need of updating and view of roof ( photo attached). Jr suite with plenty of room and only a love seat and one light , could use more chairs and a lamp. ( photo attached) Pool was nice and you can walk to Disney Springs. Bell staff and valet service very friendly, however it took 20 minutes to get car. Cushions on seats in dinning room filthy, staff hit or miss most not friendly and did not provide good service. There is a character breakfast on Sunday, it would have been nice to know about it in advance. WILL NEVER RETURN. Definitely not worth the price. Do yourself a favor if you are going to Disney stay on Disney property.

It is always our goal to share the light and warmth of hospitality, and based on your review, it is clear this mark was sorely missed. While we cannot go back in time for a do-over, we have taken this as a learning opportunity, addressed it with our team, and have recommitted ourselves to upholding higher service standards moving forward. We hope the next time you are in the area, you'll allow us the privilege to host you again for the rewarding experience you deserve.

Our stay was very good. The rooms were clean and if your a Gold or Diamond member you get free breakfast from their grab and go restaurant. They give you a $30 credit let night to use. It was very good. It has starbucks coffee pastries muffins and a variety of breakfast sandwiches. The pool was heated and the hot tub was really hot which was great. The bathroom was kinda small but it worked. They don't do any housekeeping but if you need any towels or soaps they will bring it to you. If you want your room cleaned you have to call and request it they have no issue doing it. Overall was a great hotel stay. Just beware there is a $22 daily parking fee and daily $35 resort fee Close to all the Disney parks. Will be back.

Pro Tips:
Getting around:
Uber from the airport. Taxi and shuttles to Disney Springs area start at $66. Bypass that and follow signs to RideShare pickup. Uber arrived in 6 minutes and was $28.
Skip renting a car. Uber cost us between $16-35 a day to/from parks, restaurants, etc. Most days we shuttled and/or walked, the location really is ideal.
Amenities
Housekeeping is only upon request. One mid week service to empty trash, refresh towel, sheets, coffee was all we needed.
Resort is amazing. Family friendly. You'll find a spot and fresh pool towels even during busy times. (Get them at the stand on the way in). Great vibe, fun for all, arcade, shuttles, all access to Disney Magic!
Food and Beverage
Bring, Uber or ship groceries to the hotel if you're staying more than a couple days. There is a fridge in the room and microwaves are located at the bell stand and cafe. Outlets (like the pool/lobby bar) were closed at weird/busy times, like when we shuttles returned from the parks.
Cafe is always open, making it always busy. Paying with a card or room charge through their POS is a complete nuisance, creating long, slow lines. Overflowing pizza boxes/trash on the pool deck when other outlets close, because everyone hits the cafe inside.
Come prepared if you're staying more than a couple nights. Food/drinks are good, but overall F&B was hit or miss and you'll pay a premium. Tons of dining options nearby.
Overall amazing experience. Highly recommend, would stay again and again!

We stayed in this hotel for a couple of days after our Disney cruise and it was fantastic. We will probably be staying here in a few years when we make our next Disney trip if the prices are similar. This hotel has a great heated pool and a second zero entry pool attached to a lazy river. My only pool related complaint is that there is not really much pool area between 2 foot and 3 foot, so younger kids that are not babies don't have a lot of places to swim without a parent right there.
The breakfast is great and having the Disney characters there for pictures made the breakfast a real event.
The rooms are nice sizes and fairly clean and furnished with newer electronics... oh... the DVDs... they have 2 free DVD library machines and DVDs in the rooms, which is great for kids that need some down time.
Service was really great. We really appreciated the attention and willingness to make sure we were having a good time. From the bell hop to the room service, everyone was kind and wanting to help out.
The "shades" restaurant has a great "happy hour" special on drinks from 4-6 every day which is nice.
Disney Springs is a short walk and really a great place to visit.
One thing that probably can't be changed, and it might have just been my neighbor, but it seemed like the walls were very thin. I could hear both sides of the conversation she was having on her cell phone when it was set to speaker phone.
All-in-all, for a Disney themed hotel, with free shuttles to the parks, character breakfasts on Sundays and heated pools. You are not going to find a better price than this.

Hello hirthoneymoon! Pool got very busy! Here’s a tip! Seems people get up early to put their towels on their area in which they’d like to sit! We have never done that tactic because we’re not greedy but if you’d like to save you’re spot that way then this hint is for you!
Oooh good question! But that I do not know! Give them a call!
Hi no airport shuttle, walkway and bridge to Disney Springs 5 minutes
I think it was $50 per night, but I would call and ask.
