We have stayed at this park for around 8 years or more. But since the last lot of managers were employed, found that the facilities were very run down. We had booked a cabin for Easter which had to be deferred due to Covid. After 4 long months with the rude manager not allowing us a refund. When then organised to book a cabin, but once we gave her our name she refused our booking as she didn't like our comments about the park being run down.
Well good new. Today Sue ( the accounts manager) has rang my husband and given us a full refund. She advised us that the manager is no longer employed there, and asked if we would return. As we also have a lot of family from Victoria that come up and love it location.
We have told her we would be happy to return to this treasure of a park after they have had time to restore all the damage of it being rundown by people who didn't have the parks best interest at heart. Thankyou Sue for your prompt refund and phone call. My husband said he would love to come and manage the park.

We just finished up 5 nights at Bribie Island Caravan Park. We decided to give it a go in the school holidays and we were not disappointed.
It was clean and tidy. The ammenities were dated but clean! The water pressure was decent and the water hot. Also the shower water didn’t spray all over the space you get dressed in. Bonus.
The pool, playground, camp kitchen/bbq area and mini golf area were also well maintained and clean. My children had a blast.
The biggest pro is the location. So close to the beach, just a short, flat walk. Perfect for little legs.
The cons: I’m not used to people smoking on sites. I’m used to parks that have a small smoking area away from camp sites.
The sites aren’t clearly marked and people seem to go into other peoples sites with set ups. More then one car on sites despite clear rules. And children in the basket ball courts and running around until after 10 at night (only the first 4 nights, the 5th night everything Was locked up and much quieter earlier). The noise didn’t bother me as my children thankfully sleep through anything.

The kids and I will be returning in the future.

A very pleasant stay. The park is positioned near the beautiful beach and is within walking distance of the shops and surf club etc. The campers very friendly and helpful. It was quiet at all times. The staff were professional and coped very well with such a full park! We experienced clean amenities and kitchen. Will definitely revisit this park. Jim and Cathy Swan

What a dump! This has to be the most run down and neglected of all van parks we have visited. We thought we were in a shantytown. There is a high percentage of permanents in this park and we were placed in the middle of them. While some of the permanent homes were well cared for, the majority were in a very sad state of affairs. Weeds were growing up between and around the run down structures. The managers paid extra special attention to the entrance vicinity of the park wanting to give a good first impression - watering every day, mowing and trimming. Sadly they never made it to our section.
The amenities block was disgusting. There was ample evidence that it was not cleaned for the entirety of our stay. Only the bin inside the area appeared to have been emptied once.
We ended up leaving early because of the sorry state of the park, and would not consider ever returning.

Very disappointed with our stay. Back block amenities not cleaned to give us confidence in hygiene & cleanliness. Only cleaned 1x daily with no sprays or caution for COVID. Hair on shower wall whole time. I wiped layer of dust off the top of soap dish. Silver paper and other garden twigs etc remained in shower area 4 days. Mould and grime build up throughout bathroom. Spoke to office 2x with no response to significance of request. Oh.... advertised 2 hrs of free wi-fi... only got 15mins. Office still not interested. Unclean. Grubby. Old. Awful

Very rude male staff members. Drove the rubbish tractor and golf buggy around at way over the sign posted 5k speed limit. Did not slow down driving in front of cabins with young children. There were no mirrors on the golf buggy, and he reversed out of its parking area without the driver once looking over his shoulder to check for children.
The park obviously does not want families with children staying there. The pool closes at 5pm in November, and the very rude team member came in and told us we had to get out, it was closed. Then proceeded to put a chain and padlock on the gate. He also put a chain and padlock on the playground! Closing that too! Over an hour and half of daylight left, and no pool or playground available for the kids.
I could go on......very dated amenities, depth signs in pool in old imperial measurements, no seats for parents to sit on in pool area, or playground area!
Sorry, would not recommend it for a family with kids

Very poor. Would never stay here again. Terrible customer service and waaaay overpriced cabins. For the price they charged is we could have stayed at a 4 or 5 star Accor hotel or resort. It isn’t even located on the beach for the exorbitant prices. Cabins are very dated. No aircon in bedrooms. 2 hangers on the cupboard. For those prices I would be expecting a little more.

There was a large number of family that booked 12mths in advance for Easter for a family reunion. Were booked a number of cabins and caravan spots. We received the quotes and all paid $150 each to secure each of our accommodation. My mother paid the rest the week before our check in not knowing what was quoted. She was charged significantly more than remained on the quote. Our other family members were overcharged as well. When raised with them at the park they refused to honour the quote we received and refund the money. Disgusting attitude and service. We will be taking this further to the ombudsmen and ACCC.

Will never support people that run businesses like these people do and hope no one else does either.

We stayed for 2 nights for a quick getaway and recharge. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised at the size and location of the camp sites. We were in no. 37 which was right near the amenities and backed on to the games room and pool area. The camp kitchen was great with multiple microwaves, a fridge and several bbq's. All within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach. We will be back!

We have stayed here a couple of times but this most recent time will be our last . Camp rules state quiet at 10pm , that didn’t happen. Only one car per site , that didn’t happen - quite a few people on one site . A lot of what we call riff-raff this time. Loud music , even louder swearing and noise until all hours . We ended up leaving a day early as we could take the late night noise . ( we’re talking after 11pm ) Great facilities for a family , but that’s just the point , it’s a family park, should be family friendly . Really disappointed .
