My second visit for High Tea at the Village B&B didn't disappoint. Outstanding service, value for money and consistent high quality of food, all home made, will bring me back again and again Thanks again, Liz

Lovely restaurant attached that serves delicious high tea in true English excellence. Great variety and service with options available for those with food allergies or intolerance. Beautiful fixtures and fittings and styled to perfection.

The property is a beautiful old Queenslander although closer to the road than I had expected from the pictures. Parking is not guaranteed and even street parking can be difficult on a Saturday night with the nearby restaurants. While the room was lovely and the hosts very welcoming, I really did not feel comfortable due to the high teas and guests dining outside the room. I felt that I needed to have the curtains drawn and could not enjoy the beautiful verandas as I would be in the way. The set up also started around 9.00 a.m. with the radio blaring and lots of clattering, making it difficult to hear on the phone. I do think the focus should be on either the accommodation or on the high teas / meals but not both, as it took away from would could have been a very lovely, relaxing stay.

I took my mother for High Tea after so many people recommending and was certainly not disappointed. Evidently on this day they were down staff, but you would not even know. Service was friendly and efficient with an ambience you just want to go back to. High Tea was the best we have had, and we have had a few! The variety and quality was excellent and bottomless tea in beautiful china that took you back to more elegant days. You probably won't get through all the treats but don't worry you will be offered a container to take home! A must visit and we will be back soon. Thank you Liz you can be proud of your establishment.

We had a wonderful time here. The hot breakfast was nice and fresh, they also had continental breakfast with fresh fruit included and very good coffee. The ambience of the place was very nice The room was very clean and they made our beds every day. The bedroom was well decorated, plenty of extra blankets and towels. Great location, walking distance to shops and a fantastic Thai restaurant next door. Our hosts provided us with good local advice. Very helpful and friendly.
