Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

If you are looking for a beautiful setting, peace and tranquillity, excellent breakfast spreads and charming hosts then look no further. We couldn't have felt more spoiled than we were this weekend staying at Lynda's and Per's lovely Bed and Breakfast! Quality fittings, beautiful, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds with good linen, clean and neat. Large ensuite with Sukin bodycare products at guests' disposal, it was all the special little touches that made this an exceptional weekend. Thank you so much Lynda and Per for your kindness and wonderful hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We stayed 2 nights at Snapper House and found the hosts Lynda and Per to be delightful. Just the right amount of helpful and accommodating without encroaching on your privacy. The house was purpose built with guests in mind and it's obvious the way the rooms have been set-up. There are 3 rooms in all - 2 upstairs and an accessible room downstairs. We had an upstairs room which had a massive en-suite. All modern conveniences supplied including tea and coffee making facilities and wifi. The decor is warm and cosy and the whole house is furnished like a cozy nook. The breakfast selection is amazing and Lynda and Per can accommodate most dietary requests, I'm usually not keen on B & B's because I really like my privacy, but I never once felt encroached upon even though all rooms were full. If you have a car , the location is not far from anything on the island and their is a little bottle-o and grocery store withing walking distance. Highly recommend.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Snapper House B&B for 2 nights this week. The hosts Lynda and Per made our stay absolutely memorable. The accommodation was 10 star and the breakfast each morning simply delicious. You will need to go a long way to find any B&B that offers this level of service and considering my husband and I have been in the hospitality industry for over 7 years (recently retired) - feel we are well versed to make this statement. We were made to feel welcome from the time we made our initial enquiry to when we sadly, had to leave to come home 2 days later. We will be back!

We stayed 3 nights at Snapper House last week and absolutely highly recommend this place ! The accomodation is beautiful and exceptionally clean. The hosts Lynne & Per couldn’t do enough to make you feel welcome. Honestly this is one of the nicest traditional B&B’s that we have ever stayed at ! Per is a wonderful coffee maker too ! The breakfast that Lynne & Per serve is delicious and nothing is too much trouble. I loved meeting Ruby & Bertie their adorable corgis. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Snapper House and we will certainly be back ! Thank you Lynne & Per ...Julie & Sean

Lynda and Per provided us with a wonderful stay. The room was well appointed and the rain shower and water pressure were amazing. The breakfast provided every morning was exceptional: cereal, yoghurt and fruit; plus a variety of options for a cooked breakfast. They are both familiar with a range of activities on the island and gave us many wonderful suggestions. Across the road is a great cafe and the fish and chips in Rhyll are some of the best on the island. Located in Rhyll, it is away from the hustle and bustle of Cowes, but close enough to quickly get into town. The mattress was a little soft for my liking. Also being on the ground floor meant you could hear people in the room above. Unless you need twin beds or disabled access, request one of the upstairs rooms. But these were minor issues. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to the Island.

We arrived to a warm friendly welcome from Lynda Per and Ruby. Beautiful home, stylish and modern but also homely. well appointed bedroom with luxury toiletries and all the home comforts of hot drinks, mini fridge and delicious cookies in the room for us. Our hosts gave us handy tips for local sights to see and made us feel at home. It's plain to see why they get great reviews here. We would definitely recommend a stay, and wish them every success.
