Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at this property and stayed divinely.
It is a very elegant nineteenth-century palace. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, in keeping with the style of the palace. It is located in an excellent position, from which you can easily reach all the most desirable destinations of Pisa and beyond. Also in the structure there is an inn with excellent cuisine, so you have the opportunity to dine comfortably. But among all the beautiful things of Villamorosa, there is one that surpasses them all, this is dear Juliet, a person with great grace and sympathy! And finally, breakfast, consisting of all fresh and freshly made products. Fantastic! We will be back!

A beautiful hotel, my wife and I drove here with our 2 girls (7 and 10) from PISA airport, and wasn't far at all. The decoration of the hotel is incredible, beautiful authentic paintings, furniture and frescos. The staff were wonderful, really lovely people.

We ate at the hotel several times for breakfast and dinner, and it was truely authentic and delicious. The outdoor dinning is lovely with the garden and olive trees.

I would highly recommend this place for a real authentic taste of Pisa, amazing staff, amazing food, we stopped for only a few nights before we headed to Florence.

I live nearby and I found it for friends who came to visit.
Beh! It 'was a nice discovery...... of a beautiful place, kindness and friendliness.
There is also a Restaurant on Reservation and, in my opinion, it must be quite bono, because the scents you could smell were very tempting
It 'was appreciated the fabulous room and the delicious breakfast.

I visited the Villamorsa B&B for a long weekend, and discovered an authentic piece of Italian history and comfort. The B&B is conveniently located within a short driving distance of Pisa, and also many of the local places of interest such as the Marina, and the medieval town of Lucca, making it a great place from which to explore Tuscany. The property itself is large, with very comfortable beds, and great facilities. I found the manager Mirella to be very helpful both with welcoming me to the property, and informing me of the best places to visit in the local area, including the best restaurants which only the locals would know about (no 'tourist prices' or poor food here !!). It was an excellent opportunity to enjoy the real Tuscany lifestyle, and avoid the 'tourist traps'. Recommended to anyone who wants to enjoy some authentic Italian lifestyle.

Villa is located just a few minutes from Pisa and it's perfect if you don't want to be in a croud. We used it as our base to Pisa and trip to Cinque Terre. House is very nice preserved, lovely garden, clean rooms and nice common spaces. Host Mirella was super nice and talkative. Pets are welcome and there is a lot of ways to walk them. I would go back for sure.

We are a couple from Germany and we spent 4 days in Villamorosa. The place is outstanding! We visited some b&b in the area as we were looking for accommodations for our wedding guests for next year (will get married in Navacchio). Villamorosa is a real villa. It has beautiful old furniture-they give the place a little vintage tough, bathrooms are brand new, a great wine cellar were you can lounge in the evening, a private parking in the yard, noise control windows, air-condition. But this is not the very best yet!! You have to try their breakfast. The lady from the kitchen asks everybody what they would like- and then organizes everything from fresh fruit to huge omelets, fresh bakery, cheese, ham, musli.. No matter what she will prepare it with love and care! And Sandro who looks after Villamorosa, is very helpful and caring. He was always available for us to help us with our questions and gave us great advise. Thanks to his commitment we could visit some neighborhood places.

Altogether this is the place you want to spend a holiday. If you are there visit the beach at marina di Vecciano, it a a wild beach, behind a natural dune, with 2 nice restaurants nearby! Make sure you drive all the way until you see the restaurants parking!

Nice stay in a B&B exactly as it was conceived in the Renaissance era, walls, floors, stairs and furnishings exactly dated and in neoclassical style.
Perhaps the rooms were a little cold and the one with the private bathroom but outside the room was not very comfortable. For the rest, the breakfast was precise and not particularly abundant but in line with the context, the staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent location for visiting Pisa for a day and leaving again
