Amazing hotel and staff
Stayed for 10 nights and it was amazing. Food was excellent with the resteraunt putting on special buffet nights on Thursday and Saturday. Staff were extremely happy and helpful and always welcoming. Rooms were very clean and spacious and balcony went straight into the pool which was brilliant. Perfect location and would 100% recommend using!

Amazing stayea
Leaving to day ☹️ this hotel is exceptional the staff work so hard always with a smile on their faces, spotlessly clean, breakfast fantastic so much variety. The location is close to everything there is not a bad word to say about this hotel or staff!!! Stayed in room 622 over looking the back pool.

Fourth visit to this very pleasant Resort
The fact that we keep coming back says it all really. Of course this was monsoon season, so a couple of heavy rain storms per day is the norm. No problem, and indeed the resort was pleasantly quiet as a result. Excellent accommodation with a balcony overlooking the pool - what could be nicer? Large well appointed rooms, with really comfortable beds, sparkling linens and all the extras you'd expect in a room. The breakfast also remains a standout, with a comprehensive buffet, egg station and good selection of fruit and pastries as well. Thankfully there were no breakfast room smokers this time around. The in-house restaurant Le Siam, shared with its adjacent sister resort the Bhandari, has improved quite a bit. The menu is more extensive and the Saturday evening Thai buffet was very good too. The Spa is also shared with Bhandari and is situated in that resort. The spa building is delightful and serene, and the massage therapists are very skilled. The staff at large are all very helpful and smiling and work hard to ensure guests are happy. Thank you.…

Great hotel
This is wonderful place for adults and couples,no screaming kids,soul and body totally relaxing,staff is very kindly and breakfast is great.beach is 100m and central about 500m.I have been in thailand about 10 time,and this is top hotel all my visiting.

Perfect Hotel for exploring area
very good hotel nothing to much trouble. Staff will go out of there way to make your holiday special. The pool and grounds are very well maintained. The breakfast buffet is very good plenty of choice. We had a couple of minor issues and they sorted it within minutes of reporting. So all in all would highly recommend this hotel.

What is the best time of year to visit weather wise?
The best time depends on your wallet,the dry season is high season and the monsoon is the low, but most rainy days we found in the afternoon,the mornings were great,so May June are a bit of both @nd enjoyable.

Could someone help regarding pool access rooms - Wanting an access room that has mostly shade (mainly shade afternoon) Have seen pics of access rooms facing block wall - DONT WANT so what room numbers do we avoid? Any help would be fantastic Thank you
Hi there, The Oriental have only 10 water access rooms and any one of them is o.k.we think that this is one of the best resorts Togo to,not advisable for. Elderly or persons having trouble eith balance and a lot of walking,the resort is full of steps which is no problem for normal walking,we managed it at age 78 and 87.We are sure you will enjoy this resort,we have it very high on our list,a parent resort is “ The Haven “ on a higher price bracket,but one of the best resorts of its kind,trust you will enjoy your stay.
