The people are professional, but warm and friendly. Everyone from the staff is so friendly and help you however they can. But what I was more amazed of was the food that was served by Mohan and Enzo. Don’t hesitate to ask for the Indian cuisine with delicious naan bread and Indian delicatesse. Great service, great food. Thank you!

We stayed at JW Marriot for 2 weeks during January 2022. We had a really nice time during these 2 weeks. The location of the hotel is just amazing by the sea. Sitting at the open sky bar watching sunset with a drink in your hand is just one of those amazing moments… Breakfast is just splendid with a wide range of variety and chef Mohan is very kind to make sure you get what u ask for if not available. There are several restaurants at the hotel and I can recommend the Olive restaurant. We had the opportunity to have an Indian evening at this restaurant. Chef Mohan offered us to make our own menu which he elegantly cooked for us. Our kids are still taking about the chicken Tikka masala… Hotel staff are really nice and friendly. Kids club is amazing and so is the gym facilities.

We stayed at the JW Marriott Khao Lak for four nights and were so impressed with every aspect of this resort! The hotel grounds are stunning - traditional Thai architecture combined with modern touches creat an exceptional ambiance and transport you into another world. We were pleased to see that the resort was still fairly busy, even with current Covid restrictions : the volume of returning and new guests is a testament to the quality of this hotel. For me, the location was superb - isolated from city and work chaos and immersed in beautiful surroundings. The resort is really self-contained, like a little village with every amenity and need of its guests taken into account. The beach is stunning - soft sand and shallow, clean water perfect for swimming and long walks at sunset. The swimming pool is endless and a highlight of the JW Marriott. I had a pool-access room so could basically swim all around the resort. My room was beautifully decorated and cared for by attentive and reliable house-cleaning staff. The toiletries that were provided were of a very high quality and replenished every day. I also really enjoyed the gym and yoga studio. They have beautiful tennis courts and bicycles for guests as well as squash courts and table tennis. There are endless activities to explore here! Breakfast at the JW Marriott was really good : full of variety and with charming and attentive service. We ordered room service a few times as well and loved the stone-baked pizzas and Indian food. The chef is excellent! The Italian Restaurant was also excellent with sophisticated and delicious meals at dinner time. Unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to try the Japanese or Thai restaurants on site. We did, however, find a local seafood restaurant on the beach which is definitely worth visiting - it is called Krua Thai and is about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The spa is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in a different world. The ladies at Reception also helped us organise a day trip that was tailored to our needs - we went deep-sea fishing and explored a nearby coral reef and deserted island before cruising back along the coast. Thank you for organising this for us! The members of staff at the JW Marriott were outstanding and really deserve praise and recognition. I have never been on a holiday where I felt so welcomed and taken care of and would like to thank everyone for their warm and generous welcome. The nice guy who served us at breakfast was particularly nice - I think his name was Sorn. The two ladies at reception were also extremely helpful and helped me find a way to unlock my iPad and iPhone as I had misplaced the key. No request seemed to be too much for them. Thank you so much to everyone for making this such a special stay! I would love to come back.

This is a really wonderful resort in many ways. The location right on the beach is superb, the beach itself is wonderful and it is nice and wide to play on the sand or swim. There is a beach bar for refreshments and food and staff come around with cold water regularly. What is unusual is the fact that the dining pools are more a lagoon style running around the resort with a smaller main pool little seating so if it is your thing to relax by the pool this may be a let down but the beach area is wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and the Executive Chef Silvano is amazing, ensuring all guests are well treated and feel valued. Food was great and some excellent festives buffets were put on. Prices were reasonable all things considered and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The difference here is Chef Silvano is everywhere and overseeing everything. A big thanks to Silvano and Enzo for making our stay so special. The let downs were that housekeeping was very poor with us having to request proper cleaning several times and most disappointing was how elite Bonvoy members were hardly recognized or treated, even though they have someone dedicated to ensure the Bonvoy elite guest experience is great. I am a titanium elite and was presented a letter stating that they had left a gift of local specialities in the room. There was nothing but a few Mandarin's and when I asked the guest experience manager she told me that was the gift, even though all other rooms recieve the same. Check in was very poor, again with no focus on elite members, being served by a member of the concierge team who had no training or understanding of the check in job and our rooms not being ready until after the official check in time. The bottom line for me is that they do not provide (m)any elite benefits, no club lounge or any offer of drinks, canapes or anything and other than the F&B discount it felt like they went out of their way to ignore their Bonvoy members. This was such a shame as the resort is great but such let down will probably prevent a return visit when there are other Bonvoy properties who extend so much more of a welcome and benefits. The four stars I have given reflect how nice the property was and the lack of member benefits prevent five stars.

We have stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. everything here was great. the hotel is beautiful and very clean, the pool is amazing, the restaurants (we tried the Japanese, Italian and the beach bar) were very pleasant and the food was very good. breakfast was excellent, maybe the best one in the whole trip and the staff were wonderful, extremely nice and helpful (Silvano from breakfast and the Italian restaurant is a Jam) The Gym is very good and has a variety of equipment. The beach is beautiful, very peaceful and if you go a bit to the left you will find some lovely ladies who give an excellent massage and also a local restaurant (we didn't eat there), kiosk and taxi services. we enjoyed our stay very much and truly there is not a single bad experience to mention.
