I was there for two weeks in October, I spoke no portuguese. The staff of the hotel went to great lengths to make my stay very pleasant. The rooms were clean, security was great. The restaurant/ bar were more than adequate. I had no transportation, I was delivered everywhere by these fine people.

“The front rooms are lovely ones with balcony, where I stayed. But if you are bothered by street noise, since this is a central hotel I suggest you reserve a back room.”
