My Bridal Party & my parents booked the Kookaburra Cottage for my wedding weekend. It was such a great place, Sally is welcoming & so helpful. The Kookaburra Cottage was perfect for a relaxing night before our wedding with wonderful facilities. With plenty of space we were able to have our hair & make up done on site which was fantastic. The beautiful gardens were also perfect for some Stunning Photos with my Bridal Party. I loved Kanturk & cant wait to visit again

My Husband and I got married at Kanturk in December. It rained all weekend but couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and weekend. We booked all three properties at the Retreat as our families stayed also. We had so much fun and Sally was awesome; she couldn't do enough for us. If you are looking for a getaway to forget about the outside world; stay at Kanturk Country Retreat. The property is just beautiful and the facilities are comfortable and clean. We will be returning to the pool house for our 1st Anniversary.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your wedding at Kanturk. We loved having you and your lovely family and friends stay. It was a shame that it was the wettest weekend for the year, but it didn't dampen your spirits or celebrations.

Our recent stay at Kanturk with my family and friends was superb. The rooms are most comfortable, super clean, nicely decorated and covered all needs. We all had lots of fun with Easter egg hunt, barbeque, tennis and couple dances. We all played lots of indoor games. All staff members were professional and pleasant. We will most definitely stay here again. Thanks to all!!

We are a group of 7 families with kids looking for getaways every year and for this Easter break we stayed at Kanturk Country Retreat. This is a quiet place tucked away just one hour from the city. We had an amazing time chilling out, playing tennis and having bbq's. The perfect long weekend family and friends time. If you are looking for some peaceful time away from the city this is definitely an option to try. We plan to return again! Thank you Sally for delicious cookies and for making our Easter weekend stay memorable. Cheers.

We planned a girls hen trip during the weekend for around 15 girls and Kanturk Country Retreat was exactly what we expected! The location is great - not too far from the CBD but far enough to feel like you've gotten away. Sally was a great host and made sure that we had everything we needed and catered to our requests. The property was exactly as described and was perfect for hosting our hens weekend. The brownies she had for us on arrival and also the home-made soap was a definite added bonus! We would definitely recommend the place, especially for larger groups as there are so many activities to do. Thanks again for a great stay.

We were looking for a serene place, big enough for a group of 12 and with facilities to keep us busy during a weekend get together for old school mates. As a bunch of noisy fellows, we also wanted a place where we could be ourselves without feeling like we are disturbing neighbours. Kanturk was the place for us and exceeded our wildest expectations. From playing golf and tennis, to beers and bbq by the pool, to the fire place in the log cabin, there was no dull moment during our stay. Sally (host) was very pleasant to deal with and was very helpful from the get go right through to the end. Will definitely be back to Kanturk for our next events, and I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a group outing.

This property saved our event! We were struggling to find somewhere affordably priced where we could have a large group for an overnight stay without noise restrictions. Kanturk to the rescue! Sally was a brilliant hostess and made sure we had everything we needed. The beautifully appointed cottages had ample beds and everything we needed for our frisbee-golf, cook-off extravaganza! Could easily be a great spot for a quieter retreat only using the beautiful poolside cottage for two. But for a group event where you need space, facilities and no hassles - this place is ideal. Thanks Sally!

We stayed at Kanturk's Kookaburra Cottage for a weekend with another family. The location gave a real country feel and was secluded. Ideal spot for nature lovers who want the best of both worlds, that being country yet not too far from suburbs such as Frankston etc. They have a little of everything for the whole family such as golf course, swimming pool and bbq facilities. Nice spot for the larger family or small groups. Wifi was an issue because service was very limited. We did gain access to free wifi however none of us could connect to it, so be mindful of thins if you are tech driven. It's not top of the range accommodation but it was clean and tidy and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.
