We didn't stay here but did enjoy a very pleasant lunch/ coffee stop with lovely pancakes with cream and home made rhubarb jam - delicious. A very friendly lady served us and there was a nice little shop with various good quality souvenirs. Gjogv is a beautiful little village and well worth the drive from Torshavn.

I visited Gjaargardur on an extremely windy and unseasonally snowy day in late April with my family of 3 generations and we were very satisfied. We had lunch, most of us choosing the excellent lunch plates, and we were quite impressed (and made good use) of the small but remarkably well-stocked gift shop, where we found knitting products of high...

The room was of a good standard and had a great view over the village and the fjord. The best part of the guesthouse is the old part on the top floor of the main building, where we spent most of the day, since this visit was a staff trip with teambuilding and a professional purpose. The catering was good,...

We spent 2 nights at the guesthouse. We were in the new building. The room are spacious, nice and clean. The bathroom is a bit weird since they re is no really shower curtain. So when you take your shower, you spash water all around the bathroom. Mean you need 3 or 4 towels to clean everything after you took...

We slept in a tent at the camp ground, and had our breakfast at this lovely place. The place serves local food. The staff was also nice. The guesthouse is at Gjogv, ad wonderful place where you should spend a couple of hours.

We stayed here 3 nights and thought it was the perfect place to explore from everyday. The room was clean and comfortable. No hairdryer but when we asked for on they immediately found one for us. The bathroom was updated but no shower curtain or door. The floor was heated which made our room comfy. There were not choices for...

We went there only for coffe and some cake. We did not stay at the guest house. Firstly it was a little difficult to find a place for in this small beloved town. You should go at the upper left side of the city in order to locate it. It serves very fresh and hot apple pie. Absolutely delicious. You...

Maybe the place is a bit expensive for what they offer -but that's just Faroes- as the rooms are pretty average and bathrooms nothing to brag about, but their staff is really nice, all is clean, the food is decent and the location is more than fantastic. It's more than worth it due to this, the place is so lovely,...

Spent three nights here and loved it. Arrived just in time for the relaxed Faroese cultural evening held every Wedenesday and hosted with panache by Eirik. There's nowhere to eat out, but the menu option for the evening was tasty and with forewarning I was served some very tasty veggie food too. We stayed in the annex with en suite...
