Dave and I eloped up here on the 20th April 2019. Our day was just beautiful. Thanks to our lovely hosts Tanya and Tony. What they provided for us was perfect in every way. We cannot thank them enough for everything they did for us which was far more than we ever expected. We would recommend this beautiful place to anyone who wishes to have a lovely quiet wedding. Thanks again, Denise and Dave
Forget the tourist traps, stay here and use it as a base to travel! Everything was perfect. Great accommodation, every detail covered. Amazing fresh local or home grown food. So peaceful. Watching the Kangaroos from the deck was so special, and they were so close! Nearby walks at Amamoor and Noosa were great, then back to relax on the deck. Wish we had stayed longer than 2 nights.
First of all I would like to thank Tanya and Tony for a lovely weekend. This was our third time here, we stayed in Studio 149 this time and it is very nice and clean. The service is always Excellent. The Studio is very big, the linen is first class. Everything you need is there, no need to take anything. There is a bar-b-q and a lovely table and chair setting on the balcony, the views are fantastic. If you want to have a nice peaceful time away this is the place to go. We will be back. See you next time. From D&D
Our stay was PERFECT. Room was beautiful and comfortable. The huge spa and double header showers were great. There was an ethanol fire place which was lovely too. Food was delicious and so fresh. Views were lovely and it was so quiet and peaceful to read a book on the deck.
Nothing is difficult . Beautiful surrounds and absolute peace and quiet. 2 nights was nowhere near enough though we were both thankful we spent it here. Left completely alone with the most delicious local produce and food delivered each day - was superb . The studio was excellent completely private . Thanks Tony and Tanya - our visit was superb.
We had a great time staying at Melawondi Spring Retreat. The cabin had everything we could asked for including a beautiful view, gourmet food provided on arrival and for breakfast. The owners were friendly, helpful and left us to total privacy. We will be back.
This was our second stay at Melawondi. For us there is no need to look anywhere else. We will be back again next year. It is quite, private and relaxing. Tanya and Tony have thought of everything. The perfect place to unwind after working too hard all year. 10/10
We have just returned from our long weekend stay at Melawondi Spring Retreat and want to go back already! Everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was perfect, situated in a nice and secluded location on the property surrounded by bushland and wildlife. The immaculately presented luxury studio has everything you could want; completely self contained with stovetop, oven, microwave and fridge in the full sized kitchen as well as an amazing double spa and double shower in the bathroom. I also highly recommend the "Local Seasonal Grazing Platter" showcasing all of the delicious local produce, enjoying this on dusk was the highlight of our stay. The hosts Tanya, Tony and Emma were very welcoming and made our stay memorable. I would recommend the luxury studio at Melawondi Spring Retreat for anyone wanting a relaxing escape! …
After 2 wonderful nights at Melawondi, I could not put it any better than that of one Darryl Kerrigan from The Castle. I even wrote this in the guestbook! Not only does MSR offer beautiful, isolated, eco-friendly cabin stays, but all included options catering for those among us who want to escape to the hinterland away from the hustle and bustle, but still have all the creature comforts included (ie, handmade ravioli and wine brought to our cabin for dinner...!). I cannot offer enough praise to the good, honest family running this establishment. Drive past the hype of Montville and straight to Melawondi Springs. You will not be disappointed.
I loved my time at Melawondi Spring Retreat and spent most of my waking hours either in the bath or on the deck with the binoculars. I didn't turn the television on once, each morning I was entertained by a Mother Roo playing, feeding and washing her joey, it was such fun to see and I tried to get closer in my pjs but they bounced away from me! Every little detail has been thought of and accommodated for in the luxury studio right down to the binoculars themselves so make sure you treat yourself and go for the luxury option, you won't regret it! Tony and Tania are great hosts and made sure we had everything we needed and little Emma is so helpful too, how she manages to fit in homework I don't know but she certainly is a great little helper for Mum! Thank you all for a wonderful stay!…
