We went to Palolem Beach on our way up to Panjim and were walking down the beach to find a bungalow for 3 nights. Ciarans was such a gem!!!! I can't recommend this place enough - eco friendly huts which have been really well designed, fantastic staff who get to know you really quickly, delicious food (and happy hour drinks!),...

We picked Palolem Beach and Ciarans out of a Lonely Planet guide for Goa, without really knowing what to expect and what we were rewarded with, was nothing short of paradise. We arrived in the early hours and the taxi Ciarans sent to pick us up from the airport was waiting outside. A lovely night time drive to Palolem followed...

After an exhausting Intrepid tour of the Golden Triangle, solitude was what we were after, and that is what we found, at the amazing Ciaran's beach huts in Palolem. We stayed in the hut 'Jaipur', which is one of just two absolute beachfront huts - I fell asleep to the gentle sounds of Spanish music wafting from the tapas restaurant...

Visited on a few occasions and every time surpassed my expectations. Simple, delicious food, friendly and efficient staff and clean facilities which is impossible to find on the beach. It has the appeal of a beach shack with the quality of a proper restaurant. They have a full restaurant with live music plus a side tapas restaurant with delicious wine...

Below are some highlights... -Friendly staff that is respectful and polite. -Very comfortable bed with well intact mosquito net. -Huts had their own "patio" area with hammock, table, chairs, and...

The manageress is lovely. The rooms are OK but expensive for what it is. The breakfast is DIRE. Cornflakes, bread and a bit of fruit. Omlettes are an add-on which have to be paid for. Food not great. Was given a room way back out of the way by the toilets but refused it. Had to wait hours for new...

It is completely insane to say that an Indian was not being hospitable to the other Indian. If you had any query or difficulty the first thing for you to do was to report it to the reception or the manager but nothing came from your end. When you have a complaint, it really helps us to improve. We take...

One of te most beautiful and aesthetic beach shacks you can find on Palolem beach.. looks like an oasis in desert after you have had a look at other shacks. Management has tried to keep pace with modern hotel ling standards to keep the customers coming back but their working style sometimes would not please Indians as we would like...

My birthday treat is a stay at one of Ciaran's other resorts at Talpona. It is amazing! So quiet and tranquil, a stunning beach with eagles soaring overhead and no people! The tents are very stylish, unique and extremely comfortable. We ate in the restaurant with friends and enjoyed delicious dishes all freshly prepared. The staff, like those at Ciaran's...
