Well placed not far off highway yet quiet and secluded. Hosts have created a character for each cabin’s facade with nooks and crannies to delight. All good fun, put a smile on our faces. Fantastic place to view sunsets, night skies and sunrises with Roos in abundance. Essential to bring your own food supplies although the Indian takeaway at the local pub was a treat.
Well sign posted from main road. Watch out for wildlife all around! Easy booking, check in and check out. Very helpful, friendly hosts. We stayed in the Post Office. Everything we needed for a two night stay. Disability friendly for access and facilities. Very clean and comfortable. Would gladly stay again. 🌻
If you miss staying here, you have missed out on a few memories! I had the honour of the little truck house. My only comment is WOW!!!! DON'T MISS STAYING HERE !!! Bring food and drinks the fire in the communal lounge makes you wish you could stay longer. The owners are gracious hosts. I will be bringing my family here for a weekend. There is so much to see and the detail and humour of the setup was not missed. You will have to go a long way to match this.
A four family long weekend staying here was a brilliant success. The cabins were exceptionally clean with everything necessary for self catering. They even supplied proper bottles of shampoo and large soft towels. We were all so impressed with the place and the friendly couple who run the 'town'. The 'town hall' has a big open fire, tables and booths and is filled with quirky memorabilia and 'dad' jokes. Great location for visits to the Grampians zoo, very close to the big koala and other natural attractions. Kangaroos and rabbits every where and apparently also emu's, although I didn't see any. Max and his wife are super friendly and helpful. We had a great Griswalds long weekend.
We were looking for dog friendly accommodation near Horsham and Old Dadswell Town captured our imagination. We were delighted with the tranquil setting on the edge of the Grampians National park. The cabin was clean and comfortable and our 2 dogs were permitted indoors. There are lovely walking trails on the property and much of interest. Our hosts were lovely. It was a good base for exploring the area and much to occupy us without worrying about taking our dogs into the National park. Near enough to Horsham to catch up with family as well
