Only very basic services were provided in this place. We arrived here after the sunset. It was very windy, cold and dusty outside. At least, we were happy to get rid of dust and wind inside. The building was one floor with long corridor and large rooms, accommodating 5-6 people per room. No privacy, but room became slightly warmer because...

This was an hostel close to Laguna Colorada. The accomodation was very basic with limited water, without hot water. Electricity was cut in the evening. There was no internet. The room with an ensuite bathroom was clean. The hostel was providing clean towels.

Like most people that reviewed this refugio, we stayed there as part of the tour between San Pedro de Atacama and the Salar de Uyuni. This lodge is very basic - dorm rooms with 8 or so beds per room, no heating, cold running water in the bathroom taps, shared bathroom among the 25+ people that the lodge accommodates. At...

Located within a magnificent place, we had to sleep with all our partners of tour, it was cold indeed but not that much, some of our friends slept in underwear Jajajaja, I really suggest to go outside at night geez it was stunning all galaxy was possible to see, if there were some chairs with warmers would be just perfect...

The Refuge at Laguna Colorada is undoubtedly the best lodging for many scores of miles. One could ask for more salubrious facilities but if you've got this far, do you need them?
