we stayed in the tower of this marvelous castle. it is in my mothers home town. it is very old but yet has all the modern comforts of a new hotel. we could even walk up to the top of the tower to get a fantastic view of the dutch countryside & observe the barges as they passed by. we... More

Had our wedding here. What a lovely location. It was so nice to be able to work with someone who was flexible, willing and able to accommodate our needs. We were given excellent advice and help with our planning. We had a lovely English tea out in the courtyard, and the chef was really gracious as he used the recipes... More

We stayed in a newly modernised room on the second floor. No elevators so a short walk up the stairs. The room was well furnished and the bed was superb quality. The only disadvantage of the second floor was that the roof is slanted therefore significantly reducing headroom on one side of the room and bathroom. We had an excellent... More

We had a nice, comfortable, quiet room with lots of hot water, lovely location by a canal, good food and service. Great hiking trails away from traffic with easy access. Easy check-in with friendly staff.

Hotel is situated near the canal, in the nature with nice arboretum. For nature lovers very nice spot. Rooms are small but relatively clean with good beds and quite big lcd tv. There is a restaurant with good choice of dishes. Rooms are quite unles there are people in the coridors. Breakfast is not cheap, and it is nothing special.

At arrival the hotel is like a beautiful picture. Beautiful surroundings. Great location. Nice, friendly staff welcomed me and during the stay most of the staff was very friendly. Don't expect 5 star service, expect friendly efficient service. The rooms are average. They are functional but a bit outdated. No airco. But they fit to the price you pay for... More

We stayed here with our dog. It has very nice surroundings with some hiking trails starting at the parking lot. The landscape in the area along the Meuse has some very nice hillsides with hiking and cycling opportunities. You'll need a car to get to and from the hotel conveniently. The hotel is located in a romantic 19th century building... More

Too noisy in the case of any functions (and they are there all the time, it feels). Misunderstandings in booking were handled extremely poorly with check out staff. Overpriced food at the restaurant. And continental breakfast with filter coffee for EUR 14.50? Get a reality check! Beautiful setting though.

Can't say enough about the natural beauty of the park in which this hotel is located. Really a treat to have such nice nature trails to enjoy. Definitely a highlight that makes a stay at Kasteel Elsloo very different and worthwhile as opposed to just staying at a regular business hotel. Castle and town themselves are also quite picturesque. Waking... More

This is a charming land house (wouldn't really consider it a castle) and the location is great; next to a beautiful park to go for nice walks. The hotel itself has a very nice lounge and restaurant and the breakfast buffet is adequate (they forget to get eggs on our day there, so no eggs for breakfast. Disappointing). The restaurant...
