We stayed one night in our caravan along the back fence, about 30m away from the amenities block. The highway noise was not too bad. The amenities block is quite dated with some rodent droppings inside (and traps outside) and a notice warning that snakes have been sighted inside - which was a bit of concern. The operators were friendly and it wasn't crowded the 1 night we stayed. Our van has its own shower toilet so I was happy to use that at night.

I found this park to be quaint. It has good sites with concrete pads and plenty of shade. My site even had a park bench. The facilities were clean but a bit tired. Not all the shower doors closed. The was a small pool. The park is very quiet and I had a good rest. TV reception was excellent.

Moura is in land Queensland and a mining town with lots of miners. The Caravan Park toilets and showers are old and need a revamping a bit run down, but clean. If you can get a van site up the front around near the swimming pool, it is very well kept, with lovely trees and green grass and nice gardens, but at the back of the park is more for the miners and a bit dusty and dry. The park is pet friendly. The town of Moura is small with a pub (that had warm beer the day we were there) just a main street with a few shops and a bakery. It was good for a stop over, we did extend for an extra night we had a lovely grassy spot and we had a swim and a bit of a relax.

My partner & I are travelling through & were going to spend 1 night here to have a decent shower, do the washing & pick up some supplies in town. However, after seeing how neat & tidy it is, lots of shrubs & trees to soften it & Green Grass! Wow. We decided to stay for 2 nights. It is so dry out here the park is like a little oasis. Sure the facilities are old, but clean & there are a lot of 'dongas' out the back to house the mine workers, which you would expect out here in coal & gas country. I would certainly recommend for a stayover. The managers seem to keep the area up the front near the pool for travellers. The miners are down the back.

Greeted by hosts, very friendly and helpful. Could choose our own site. Great little park for our 1 night stopover. Amenities old but clean. Predominantly a miners camp site, no issues at all, very friendly and didn't bother us at all.

A little tired externally, but adequate budget accommodation. The cabin was clean and all appliances new & working well. Shower was great.
The manager expressed distress that some online booking sites continue to display a powered Caravan parking space for $30 per night as a room
Onsite pool looked pleasant for warmer months.
No onsite shop, but grocery store and petrol station quite close.

Room Tip: Ensure you've booked a cabin, not a van site! Request an ensuite one away from the road.

We spent a night here recently. It's a great stopover for a trip to western Qld. The amenities are not brand new but they are clean and do the job. Like the rest of Moura, it's not what it used to be. The town has declined over recent years and the park is nowhere near full. That said, the manager is very friendly and put us onto a coffee shop within easy walking distance, Country Living , where they make a great drop.

Lovely caravan park with lots of drive through sites, very friendly owners. The owners have cultivated lovely little gardens and palms between the camp sites. Extras available are an ice machine and cold drink machine, really handy on a hot day! The ablution facilities are OK and clean. The park is located off Okano Street, it's a bit hard to find as there are very few directional signs.

We stayed in a 2 bed cabin , clean, cooking facilities & good beds & bathroom. Manager was very friendly , cafe had good food ,with plenty to choose from the cold meats / salad / hot meats & veges. Best pork crackling that I have ever had.

As previously reported mostly a miners camp. As most of their cabins appeared to have amenities it begs the question why the ablution block was in dire need of cleaning ? They have a mobile cleaning unit which must be used only for the cabins ?
One advantage of the miners was that there is an onsite cafetaria where, for the princely sum of $15 for dinner, you could partake of a salad bar, soup, hot food buffet with an Asian slant, dessert cabinet, tea & coffee. But wait, there is more, for those that are peckish around midnight you could take away a container of snacks ! Of note was the fresh fruit salad which was fresh, not fresh out of a can & the vegetables were also the same.
