Detailed Reviews
We stayed for a week in August 2022. The hotel is new, not even a year old so it does have some things to work on-particularly the service at the restaurant. We had a couple of dinners where the service was absolutely terrible, which is a shame as the food is excellent. However, after speaking to the general manager, he went out of his way to rectify our bad experience and really made us feel special. He clearly knows what he is doing so we are sure these small issues will be sorted as the staff get experience. Small changes after the incident such as the waiters preparing our usual morning drinks as soon as they saw us walk through the doors for breakfast, remembering what our kids liked and just being attentive and friendly did not go unnoticed and made a difference to us.
The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful. We stayed in one of the cheaper rooms and you do get very limited views of the bay but it was still amazing and if you are staying in the pricier rooms every single room seems to have an uninterrupted view out to the sea and islands. It really does give the luxury feel it sells.
Location is not ideal but also expected. You are very limited on choices (compromise for the views u guess!) but we still found it easy enough to get a taxi for trips, restaurants and phuket Town almost every day. We found a lady we liked and got her number and she took us wherever we needed to go for reasonable prices.
Didn't use the Starbucks but the hilltop view is incredible.
The hotel app was useful as well. You can choose what time to have your room cleaned, order in room dining, book the spa, and even chat to them whenever you need anything. Very useful.
They have golf buggies to take you around the hotel, as it is on a very steep hill, this was super useful. Our room was one of the lower ones so wasn't a drama walking if we had to but if you're at the top you'll be wanting to use them all the time! The drivers were very friendly and always smiling and joking with us.
It was a treat staying here and we would definitely recommend it.

We recently stayed here and could not fault the service by the staff at all. We had a room with a private pool and bath on the balcony. We loved the room, spacious and beautifully designed. I love the hi tech controls for the air conditioning and lightening. I also thought the free mini bar every day was a great touch. We were always impressed with the cleaning of the room and really it was a very enjoyable place to be. We made use of the excellent room service on days when we didn't want to go out in the evening, you can eat at the small breakfast bar and the service and delivery of the food is really so easy via the app. We were very impressed by this and the ease of which to have cocktails delivered to your room! The breakfast was excellent, fresh pressed juices, eggs however you want them and delicious fresh pastries. The main infinity pool was really nice, quiet with beautiful views over the coast. We had no problem with the steepness of the hotel and actually enjoyed the challenge of walking up to the hilltop bar. If this isn't for you there's a buggy service on demand so I can't imagine this is an issue for anyone. The hilltop bar has amazing views over the bay, does very good pizza and cocktails however the abundance of people there for the Starbucks meant the atmosphere was not to our taste at all. It felt very bizarre to be in Thailand with people who had gone out of their way to visit a Starbucks! I recommend if you are in this area which is very quiet to try the Green Bar which is about a ten minute walk away on the main road nearby. Food and drink is very reasonable, excellent to boot and a relaxed environment to enjoy dinner and cocktails. Be aware this is not where you go for access to the beach, it's incredibly tidal and whilst it provides a stunning view it's not a beach for bathing. The best beaches can be reached on the local islands via a pier a very short distance away, we booked very reasonable trips via the Green Bar. This is definitely a quiet area, no abundance of restaurants which is what we liked but may not be to everyone's taste. There is a taxi rank outside the hotel, very reasonable so easy to get about. We really enjoyed our stay but this isn't for you if you want a beach local.

Sinae Phuket is located on a very peaceful and quiet side of the island, which won’t be for everyone but was perfect for us. The beaches are less beautiful and the water less clear but it benefits from stunning views and being an escape from the craziness of Patong and other main drags. There is a wonderful spa, we had a couples package which was a delightful experience and good value for money. The breakfast buffet is big, fresh and varied and staff were relentlessly cheerful and helpful throughout our entire stay.
We had a private pool which was just the best thing ever and meant we probably spent more time in the room than we usually would when on holiday!
It has a nice cocktail bar facing onto the bay and a beautiful hilltop cafe that has stunning views and was perhaps underused given it’s prime location.
Only downside from the whole place was perhaps the food itself at the restaurant in the evenings, I think perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get and some of the western dishes weren’t quite en pointe. That said, you are only a ten minute drive from Phuket old town where there are loads of options, and we tend to prefer to eat locally anyway!

The resort opened just a few months ago. It consists of a villas built against a rock. The access roads are very steep. There are many different types, but each villa has its own private pool. Big enough to play in but not for swimming and 1.20 m deep. There is no public pool. The room is quite large with a nice bathroom (no separate toilet) and a bath outside on the balcony with enough privacy guaranteed. The villas seem to consist of two rooms, at least ours did, and we found it quite noisy from the neighbor side.
Reception is very friendly and the staff go out of their way to serve you. The restaurant is large with a lovely view of the sea. We had a set menu, but the a la carte offers enough choice and the food is good. After dinner we went up to the – kind of – Starbucks at the very top. It was already closed, but the very helpful mr. Sky managed a coffee for us. From here there is also a lovely view, you can wait there after check-in for your room and at that time it is very quiet. In the evening the inevitable music, or whatever passes for it and less quiet.
Our villa was on the outside, next to a construction site which had some noise. But worse, the dogs that go barking at night which cost me most of my nights’ rest, starting their fights all over again at least three times. I don’t blame the resort for this, but it maybe something to scare people away.
So, in summary, a nice villa but outside factors that interfere with the core business of any hotel facility and that is to provide a good nights’ sleep.

This is a beautiful and definitely a luxury hotel. The decor and grounds are amazing and the staff are very friendly. The view from the Hill Top restaurant is stunning and the food is good, especially breakfast with a fantastic variety. But there are a few things we think we should point out.
As advertised, every room has it's own pool BUT not every room has a view. This is very misleading on the website. We booked this hotel under the impression we would have a view with it being built on a very steep hillside, which is evident in all the hotel images. However, when we arrived at our room, it was lovely, as was the pool, but the view from this room was non-existent, being the wall of another room with no outdoor "balcony" or any outdoor space to sit. It was also very dark and shaded and had no sunlight. It was so disappointing as this was our last luxury hotel for x2 nights before returning home. Subsequently, we had to upgrade our room, which cost three times as much as our initial booking, so we weren't too happy about that.
Furthermore the hotel may be luxury and at the prices charged you would not expect to have to pay over £1 for a bucket of ice, which was free at all the previous hotels on our trip and not all of them luxury. We found this to be quite shocking!
The hotel is quite remote with no other restaurants, bars or shops within walking distance. We feel the hotel capitalise on this as the prices for drinks and food are considerably higher than most other hotels we have visited in the same area.
They allow guests to speak loudly on speaker phones in public areas, which is invasive to other paying guests. Furthermore, there are no smoking signs everywhere, yet they allow quests to do as they please, especially in the Spa area. What is the point if having rules if you are not going to enforce them, we complained about both and yet nothing was done.
Don't get us wrong, we loved our stay here and the staff were great, especially the buggy drivers who were extremely efficient and friendly.
However, it did all come at a very high price, which we were not expecting. We are experienced travellers and have stayed in hundreds of hotels, usually 4 and 5 stars around the world, and have high standards and expectations. To be quite honest, we had a far better experience at a hotel around the corner at a fraction of the cost, 9 days earlier, with no rules being broken by guests or inflated prices as at this hotel.
Does paying higher prices for luxury mean you have the right to ignore hotel rules and be ignorant to other paying guests? If so, then luxury is no longer for us. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. We had great expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, they were not met, which is very unfortunate.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you appreciated our hotel’s decor, grounds, dining experiences, and the service provided by our team, especially the buggy drivers. It’s wonderful to know that these aspects made a positive impression during your stay. We sincerely regret, however, that certain aspects of your visit fell short of your expectations. Regarding the room view and outdoor space, we strive to accurately represent our accommodations on our website, and we apologize if this caused any misunderstanding. We take your comments seriously and will review how our room descriptions and visuals are presented to ensure clarity for future guests. Your feedback about pricing, smoking policies, and the enforcement of rules is equally valuable to us. We will revisit these aspects with our team to assess how we can maintain an environment that aligns with the luxury experience we aim to provide. We understand that the remote location may not suit all travelers, and we aim to make up for this by creating a relaxing and exclusive retreat. However, we will continue to evaluate our pricing and offerings to ensure they provide value to our guests. We appreciate your constructive feedback and hope that despite these challenges, you were able to enjoy some memorable moments during your stay. It would be our pleasure to welcome you back in the future and provide a stay that exceeds your expectations. Warm regards, Pattarawadee S. Management Team

Where do I start.. I would like to thank all the amazing staff at Sinae for making our experience in Phuket an unforgettable one. My husband and I originally checked into Sinae for 3 nights (we wanted to move elsewhere in Phuket after 3 nights to allow us to explore other areas/hotels). We were greeted by very friendly reception staff and then shown to our beautiful, modern and clean room which looked just like the pictures we had seen online (you’d be surprised how many hotel rooms don’t look like their pictures!). Breakfast and room service along with general service such as buggies were exceptional. We were sad to leave as we checked out to move to another hotel. After one night at the new hotel we missed all the little things Sinae had to offer which made our trip that little bit more special, gave reception a ring and asked if they would be able to accommodate us for a further 4 nights for the rest of our trip. To our surprise they had a room available and were very happy to welcome us back with a reasonable price (considering we booked at such short notice). Thank you to all the team at Sinae. Should we ever return to Phuket, we will most definitely return to this hotel.
Many thanks,
Sahra and Bilaal (UK).

We stayed at Duplex pool Villa 108 for 3 days. The room has great panoramic view and has light windy. Swimming pools is clean and wider compared to other pool villa hotel. Maids cleaned room and swimming pool everyday.
There are 24 hours buggy services. We can use buggy or walk to Starbucks which has very impressive views especially sun rise and sun set. However, buggy will be off if it is raining for the safety reason.
Mini bar in room is complimentary, breakfast is various and the taste is good, set dinner is also tasty - we select local food menu every day. In-room drinks and meal is fine and price is reasonable.
Staff are service minded and friendly. We will be back soon.

Poisonous animals were discovered in certain hotel rooms in Phuket, according to reports.
And my desire to stay in a new and luxurious hotel grew. So I chose this hotel, only to be surprised when I went to bed to find small ants all over the bed. When I complained, the room was upgraded to a villa, and I requested that it be sprayed with the complete pesticide and cleaned, and then a large dangerous black spider appeared in the room's ceiling.
The glass doors are not tightly closed, allowing insects to enter.
The quality and presentation of the food is poor.

This is our 2nd time coming to Sinae and we are not dissapointed with all the service that are giving. We always wanted to find a quite place with a beautiful peaceful scenary and Sinea give us that!
1. View from each ocean villa are amazing, peacefully and tranqual. Hearing the sound of waving seawater, birds chirping and the wind blow are what we always dreamt of.
2. Service to the guests are always attentive and fast to response and taking action. Just to let everyones know, all the mini bar are free on each villa! They even put a portable bluetooth speaker and nintendo switch(request) for you to relax and listening to your favourite song while enjoying the majestic view of koh sirey.
3. Sai Bistro Restaurant. As a muslim travellers we are always looking for a hotel that can provided a halal food. And this hotel have and provide it. During our stay we always taking care by all of the restaurant stuffs especially to the F&B Manager Mr Mhee that always attentive to all guests. One of the many reason coming back here for 2nd time was the breakfast. I always remember that during our stay last year they serve a Thai noodle station for breakfast and it was really delicous(aroi mak). During our stay recently i’m not seeing the station anymore and i talk with the person incharge about it and the next morning the noodle station are there and taste still the best one that i’ve ever taste!
4. The breafast buffet spread is one of the highlite. They constantly change the menu everydays(see the picture attached). Personal fav is their Ice Thai Tea.
Kudos to all Sinae Luxury Hotel and we looking forward to be there again in near future. All the best and wishing everyones a happy new year 2024.

We spent 3 nights in this beautiful resort at the southeastern point of Phuket, close to Phuket town. It is a great location if you look for a villa with a private pool, stunning view, and authentic design. Dining and breakfast at the restaurant has good Thai cuisine at a very affordable price and in a nice setting. While we had issues with lighting in our villa, the staff kindly offered to upgrade us to a duplex villa for our last night, which we really appreciated. The staff was overall very kind and helpful. It is a great resort if you look for a unique, personalized experience (different from the crowds of resorts located on the west coast of Phuket).
