We stayed here during a wedding weekend and really enjoyed it. The room was huge with a walk in wardrobe/facility. It was clean. Wifi was a bit slow but used my own data instead. Plenty of parking and really nice breakfast how you want it with gluten free bread on request.

We stayed at Dougashall recently and i must say that from the moment we arrive till the morning of departure we couldn't have been made more welcome, nothing was too much bother for our hostess Mary. Beautiful room, smashing breakfast and a great place to stay, nice and quiet off the main road . Needless to say every time we...

I stayed at Douglashall B+B for one night while I was working in the area. The house is an interesting old house, warm and comfortable with parking at the back. Mary, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. I was able to choose my hot breakfast the night before from a wide range of ingredients, and it was delicious. Just what...

This was my first stay in a B&B so was a little apprehensive, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The room was stylish and comfortable with a little seating area and walk in wardrobe. Refreshment tray was great, included bottled water, Horlicks, got chocolate and a Twix, as well as the usual tea and coffee. Lovely new bathroom,...

A lovely night in big comfy bed. She made me feel welcome and at home. And gave me directions on how to get to my exam in the morning. Lovely breakfast, with loads of choice. Really happy stay. And will stay here again if I am ever in the area again.

Ideal location in Carluke. Short walk to the main town. Short drive to the train station where you are roughly halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stylish, clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing selection at breakfast and very yummy!! I highly recommend the "Full Scottish" breakfast. The proprietors are so warm, friendly and hilarious. I so want to go back to Scotland...

Great location, ideal for visiting either Glasgow areas and Edinburgh. Nice walk through the town to the station takes approx 20-25 minutes. Quiet located. Very comfortable bed, nicely decorated room. Mary and her helpers very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast menu had everything you could want, nicely presented and tasty. Would highly recommend.
