I stayed at Douglashall B+B for one night while I was working in the area. The house is an interesting old house, warm and comfortable with parking at the back. Mary, the owner, was welcoming and friendly. I was able to choose my hot breakfast the night before from a wide range of ingredients, and it was delicious. Just what... More

This was my first stay in a B&B so was a little apprehensive, but I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The room was stylish and comfortable with a little seating area and walk in wardrobe. Refreshment tray was great, included bottled water, Horlicks, got chocolate and a Twix, as well as the usual tea and coffee. Lovely new bathroom,... More

A lovely night in big comfy bed. She made me feel welcome and at home. And gave me directions on how to get to my exam in the morning. Lovely breakfast, with loads of choice. Really happy stay. And will stay here again if I am ever in the area again.

This is one of the best B&B we have ever visited and stayed in. Mary and Murdoch differently know the true meaning of Hospitality. Everything about our stay was just perfect from the room which was lovely and beautifully clean to the fantastic breakfast. We would highly recommend this B&B Stayed 22July for 3 nights

Ideal location in Carluke. Short walk to the main town. Short drive to the train station where you are roughly halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Stylish, clean and comfortable rooms. Amazing selection at breakfast and very yummy!! I highly recommend the "Full Scottish" breakfast. The proprietors are so warm, friendly and hilarious. I so want to go back to Scotland... More

Great location, ideal for visiting either Glasgow areas and Edinburgh. Nice walk through the town to the station takes approx 20-25 minutes. Quiet located. Very comfortable bed, nicely decorated room. Mary and her helpers very friendly, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast menu had everything you could want, nicely presented and tasty. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for two days as part of our UK tour. I am sorry we did not spend more time here. The B&B is situated in the quiet part of Carluke. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly, really awesome service. Breakfast was included. Hint - if you choose the Braveheart breakfast be prepared to eat a lot. The... More
