We have stayed at this property three times within the past 12 months. Booking arrangements and check in were both very good and on each occasion, Matthew has attended to us. He is most obliging and is very attentive to other guests, too.
This was our second stay and we had to do a walk in. The manager was great and we got the room we wanted with a balcony near the currently closed restaurant. For $125 was heaps bigger than the budget rooms and worth the extra. This is a very quite place hidden away in a residential area not far from the War Memorial and 5min from Dickenson. The room was very comfy, bed great aircon quite but no Foxtel. No food so had to go to China town area where there is lots a eats in the area. Parking an issue but we bagged one. Recommend the Taj Agra for best Indian. Overall a great place to stay in Canberra that's not going to break the bank. My only small gripe was no milk for coffee in fridge or anywhere.
We had a good stay here. Room was spacious and comfortable for 3 of us. Location was best, close to Dickson St and not too far from the CBD. Small disappointment was we booked for a bed and breakfast room, unfortunately they don't have any breakfast services at the moment due to the current Covid-19 situation. The manager was kind enough for us to get packs of instant cold breakfast however they were not the same as hot breakfast that normally I get from other Accor hotels.
I have stayed at the Tall Trees several times. Its very comfortable and quiet and close to the wonderful Ainslie Shops which has several restaurants and a great IGA. Ainslie is beautiful and close to all the attractions of Canberra. The rooms are good value for money, with free parking.
This was the 3rd time we have stayed here, and it is our Canberra accommodation of choice.. The rooms are always very comfortable and spotless. Staff always friendly and helpful. A big bonus is free parking, and plenty of it- a rarity in Canberra, where many places either don't have parking or charge for it. Good location- within walking distance of Ainslie shops, with supermarket, pub, eateries etc. Less than 5 minutes drive from Dickson and its great range of Asian restaurants. Wifi worked fine, and we will definitely stay here again
