The restaurant has been refurbished beautifully under the auspices of a lovely young couple who have taken over the management of the restaurant and the bed and breakfast. The hostel has not changed, and although sparse, it is clean and the beds are comfortable. It is surrounded by the vineyard offering a serene evening or a lovely afternoon in front...

I have recently stayed twice at this wonderful place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food and wine are great and the rooms, pool and grounds are excellent. It is a very peaceful and quiet location, but close to Ruta 5 and trekking opportunities in the Andes. It's a little bit of Europe in Chile. I would recommend this...

Stayed for two nights on a driving holiday of central south Chile, and used this place as a stopover between the Colchagua Valley and Pucon. The aesthetics of the place are not good with six rooms in a modern block with a swimming pool one side and car park the other and vineyards all round. Rooms a good size. The...

Stayed for 2 nights - with just a small accommodation block of only 6 rooms, this is a perfect place for a quiet retreat. Nice welcoming swimming pool. Although their formal dining room was closed, they did still dinner for guests which was basic but very tasty. Breakfast both mornings was nicely presented and fresh. Our room was compact but...

We were travelling from the Lake District to Santiago with our 7 month old baby, so its location was perfect for a stopover. It has a biiiiiig swimming pool which was delicious on that 36º summer day. I guess something to improve was the fact that our neighbours next door did a barbecue late at night; they were very polite...

We traveled from Santiago, not really knowing what to expect, we had read that the place was small and for travelers, We are not that young and I need my comforts. I was pleasantly surprise I found it very very comfortable, clean and the surroundings so so beautiful. I wished we stayed longer. the People are very friendly and to...

We were traveling through Chile from Puerto Montt to Santiago and needed somewhere to stay in-between. We were so lucky we stumbled across this place on tripadvisor. It was all it promised to be and more. Advertised as a backpackers, we actually ended up with our own room with a double bed and en-suite bathroom, all for the bargain price...

Peaceful and comfortable stopover with only a handful of rooms. The location is beautiful and you can get a good night's rest. A big and clean pool embraced by vines welcomes your arrival and it is a nice day to end a day's drive as we head further south. I would say clean but basic accommodations. The duplex rooms are...

We were 2 couples from Holland travelling through Chile, we were very happy to stay at Vila Chillan. Very nice rooms, only six in total, which are comfortable and very clean. The location is beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful environment. The Swiss owner Rudolf is very kind and showed us proudly his ecological winery. The food in the restaurant...

We have stayed at Viña Chillan many times on our way to the south of Chile. Invariably we have left with the feeling of having made an excellent choice. The rooms are quite basic, but comfortable and roomy enough, with a bathroom that is kept impeccably clean. An electric heater and a wood burning stove keeps things comfortable on cold...
