Pat & Jim are lovely people who really, really want you to have a good stay in their home. We are two couples who stay in Pentewan each year to visit the Kneehigh theatre events at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, but this was our first stay at Thorncliffe. Very welcoming, very comfortable and service way above and beyond the...

A splendid b&b, great location, fulfilling breakfast. But first and foremost, a wonderful couple hosting the place. It was almost like a homecoming when we arrived to the place. Keep up the good work!

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay with Pat and Jim, they made us most welcome. The B&B was spotlessly clean although a little dated, this was reflected in the very reasonable price. (No TVs in rooms) The two letting rooms shared a bedroom which was fine for our family stay. The breakfast offered a good selection of freshly cooked food...

You couldn't get a more welcoming couple than Pat and Jim at Thorncliffe! A cosy traditional b&b, close to the beach, and local pub. Pentewan is a small, quaint village and everyone is so friendly. The room was clean, welcoming, and Jim and Pat couldn't do enough for us. If you are seeking a family style, relaxed get -a -away...

We stayed at the Thorncliffe in 2012 for the first time. The welcome we received then was superb And the views from the breakfast conservatory are outstanding . Our daughter and Grandchildren were staying in a campsite nearby which we could see from the B&B. Our Daughter and Grandchildren decided to stay at the same campsite this year and so...

We stayed with Pat & Jim after a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Very friendly B&B and we were made to feel very welcome. As mentioned in the other reviews the breakfast was very generous and Pat cooks to order so you don't have to stick to the same set menu, which was great for me as I'm very...

We spent four nights in Pat and Jim's B & B. They were the most friendliest fun loving couple and nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel so welcome and at home. Highly recommended and excellent position for visiting the breathtaking Lost Gardens of Helligan. Maureen and Judith
