Many thanks to Dennish, the front desk manager, an all the staff for nice and relaxed experience.

It is a nice rustic accommodation in the village, in a wooden or stone houses. While you don't hear sound from nearby mosques early in the morning, be prepared for rooster singing competition. Sometimes we wished the winner gets directly in the soup, but that's the village life :)

We organized all the Jogja activities directly with the hotel, and all went nice and smooth.

The hotels restaurant is slightly more expensive, and one can feel the difference in the food based on the cook working that day but generally the experience varied from good to great.

There is a laundry across the street, 5000 rupiah/kg - very recommended.
The massage service from the hotel is pricey but well worth it.

So, if you look for a comfortable rustic stay away from the busy city traffic, this is a place to choose! Infinity pool is great in the evening.

Vacation, is one of the things we can do at this time. When you feel bored and want to travel to enjoy new things, Rajaklana Resort Villa & Spa is the right choice to relax and try a new atmosphere with hospitality services that blend with nature.

At that time I tried to enjoy a wooden house that felt like being in a village house, but with complete hotel facilities with a bat up inside! very interesting!

Check in is fast and you will be given a welcome drink Rosella Tea Flower. The afternoon is the perfect time to swim while enjoying the sunset in the west. If you want to go to a restaurant, the staff will deliver you by a special car, btw I really love your bebek gongso! It was very delicious! And also the good service from the staff makes me want to come back again.
Rajaklana I will back to you !

Regards,
Toni Setiyawan

We chose this Resort because it is located approximately halfway between the airport and the main attractions of the area: the center of Yogyakarta (reachable in 30-40 minutes by car), Prambanan and Borobudur (both about an hour and a half by car ). However, the Resort is located outside the main roads, in an area completely surrounded by greenery. The staff, made up of young people, speak English and are very willing to accommodate guests' requests. The room was a small independent villa (in total there are about ten scattered along the property), very spacious and elegant but at the same time 'natural' with a lot of wood), with a canopy bed. Less happy note for me: the bathroom outside! I understand that in Indonesia it is a sort of tradition, but unfortunately although the first approach is 'wow', in the end one cannot help but deal with the problems: first, the inconvenience of having the bathroom 'outside the house'; second, the fact that in an environment immersed in nature there are inevitably insects! The breakfast service is convenient, which is agreed upon the day before and then brought directly to your room at the chosen time. The Resort also has its own restaurant, located about 1 km away but reachable by the free shuttle that is made available to guests. The Resort also offers an airport shuttle, although at an above average price. Finally, there is also a beautiful swimming pool which, however, we did not use.

Maybe our expectations were too high after reading all positive reviews......
Positive are the friendly staff and the superb view. Breakfast was OK.
However:......
When we ordered roomservice it never came. After they assured us it was on the way toour villa still nothing happened.
There was a nice desk in our room, but without chair.
All soap and shampoo empty upon arrival.
Wall mounted fitting to hang the shower on was broken.
When we tried to find a power socket to charge our phones, we had to go through an unbelievable amount of dirt before we could plug in our devices.
So... all by all very mixed feelings and impressions.

Finally, we arrived in Jogja. As it was the weekend and we didn't want to be in the middle of the crowd of the city, we tried to find a hotel in kind of in remote area.

Well, too bad, out of our expectations, this hotel was full in capacity with a lot of kids. I didn't have many complaints regarding the room itself. The room is very spacious, traditional built, open-space bathroom, good AC, and good lighting inside the room as well. Water heater and water pressure were fine. For the wifi, it was hopeless, because we had to bear with non-wifi for our stay there. Thank God it was only 1 night.

Actually they are 18 units in the hotel area. We were at Halmahera unit. Each unit has its own patio. However, since it is a traditional building with open space bathroom, we could hear neighbor's noise. Too bad, we had to listen the kid crying next door before our sleep at night and traffic noise that I didn't know if there was a road behind our unit.

Breakfast was delivered to our room. The common area such as pool and sitting area are cozy with a lot of palm trees.

Restaurant and spa room are in different location. The hotel offers shuttle for free to transport the guest from/to hotel and restaurant/spa room. We tried the massage in the spa room. It was a great experience. An open space facing to little forest with tons of trees. Just back to the nature while doing the couples massage.

Restaurant is also an open space area. They have family cottages in this area with swimming pool as well. Guess this area is more suitable for guests coming with kids though.

But, anyway, we were having good times with the massage though.

My experience at this hotel was far from relaxing. Despite booking a villa that was advertised as serene and tranquil, I was shocked to find that it was located right in the middle of a noisy children's playground. The constant noise and commotion completely ruined any hope of a peaceful getaway. The misrepresentation of the surroundings in the pictures is unforgivable, and I'm extremely disappointed.

Since we were not able to come to a resolution, we decided to leave the property. 250 euro in the bin.

A suitable place for those who want to heal from busyness in the city.
The location is quite far but the view and facilities are worth it.
The staff is friendly and very responsive

The room and bathroom are quite spacious.
The room I stayed in probably needed treatment because there were several ants falling from the roof.

Hopefully the future will be better.
