All of the rooms face the bay and have great views, they are basic but clean. We were on half board and always found something to eat. Mellieha is nearby and the square is nice to go to on Sunday as the locals gather there to meet and enjoy a drink. There is a regular bus service to Valetta with...

My first comment I think is the most important, If you are not very mobile, do not book this hotel! It is currently having work done. But I have yet to find a way that people who cannot walk down stairs can access most of the hotel. I am lucky that I can, but I have experience of taking my...

Fantastic location. Choice of hotel pool or the beach area with food and drink available. Beach towels supplied by the hotel and loungers. Several restaurants on site and two within walking distance. A short taxi ride into the village of Mellieha an abundance of Maltese and European cuisine.

All the rooms are south facing with wonderful views of the gardens and sea. Corridors were extremely cold and bleak. Rooms - we could feel the springs poking into our backs, after speaking to Ann our rep she quickly made arrangements and we were given two extra quilts which we used as toppers to alleviate the discomfort from the worn...

Mellieha Bay Hotel will appeal to some and not others. It is a grand old dame, built in the 1960s and in places is very tired in places. But like some older ladies, this one has a great underlying bone structure! A beautifully designed original retro building with absolutely gorgeous sea views from every room. Yes, EVERY room. The rooms...

Although a beautiful setting the hotel showed signs of ageing and a bit dated. The grounds and gardens where very well maintained . The food was excellent with plenty of choice. Sadly some of the fixings were in need of updating and repair. Whilst there the hotel was under renovation so would be interesting to see outcome. Sadly on the...

Stayed here for 5 days in January 2017. The hotel is in a lovely bay with wonderful views over the bay from all of the rooms. Very comfortable rooms with everything you need provided. We stayed on a half board basis. There was a breakfast buffet which was very comprehensive and reasonable quality. Dinner was also a buffet arrangement with...
