Good location. Nearby everything you need. The suites are big with a separate bedroom. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker. I had a junior suite with direct connection and view at the pool. Rooms are very clean. Big spa area. Although the wooden floor of the dry sauna did not look very clean. Staff is friendly. But it is a bit expensive for the things you get.

I made a booking for my trip in Dec 2019 which was confirmed by the hotel in September 2019. 3 days before I was due to arrive, the hotel told me they were overbooked. They offered to put me in a hotel that was not suitable for my needs. When I requested a different hotel suitable for me at the same price as their unsuitable suggestion, they refused. They also did not offer another alternative. I am now left having to pay double the price for a hotel as it's now a last minute booking. Don't book this hotel if you want a stress free holiday

I have been travelling to Gran Canaria for the last 20 years mainly in the resort of playa del Inglés, I have stayed in all types of accommodation from not rated to 5 star, I was last in resort in September, the holiday was not all it should have been, so with some time to spare and friends on holiday in resort I decided to have a few days of chilling out with friends, I wanted to be close to friends and all amenities of the resort, but far enough away for total chill out and peace, and did I certainly choose this when I booked this accommodation, the location excellent, the cleanliness excellent, and the staff absolutely fantastic, nothing was to much trouble, to be able to lay in sun and chill out with views across the Maspalomas golf course, looking across to the dunes and faro lighthouse, this was the place. This will now be my hotel whenever I come to this resort the effect of staying here was overwhelming.

Ive been to Playa del Ingles many times over the last 20 years but have always stayed in the more budget bungalow or apartment accomodation. For this trip as i was travelling alone i wanted something more upmarket and luxurious and the Vital Suites certainly didnt disappoint. Its location is on a quiet road just a 7 minute walk from the Yumbo centre and is perched on a cliff overlooking the dunes and the ocean and Maspalomas golf course. The gardens, lawns and grounds are immaculate. Accommodation is spread over 2 story wings with i think all rooms having at the very least a pool view. Rooms/suites are bigger than most of the apartments and bungalows ive stayed in previously. All have large balcony or terrace. Tvs in both bedroom and sitting room, which i hardly used but there was a good choice of channels Marble bathroom and twin sinks, some toiletries. Shower was adequate but did run cool after a while. Very nice linen in the bedroom. Capsule coffee maker in lounge. Air conditioning was ok but possibly not as cool as some may want. Breakfast is available either to pre pay before arriving or pay as you go at €10 and is very good. Freshly squeezed orange juice included. There are two big, clean pools, one of which is perfectly heated and lots of loungers. On most days i had it almost to myself. At the weekend there was an influx of Spanish guests so was a little more crowded and busy but still plenty of space. The pool bar opens at 12 and food service is from 12:30 with some nice meal options. The staff are all extremely pleasant, especially Nestor at reception who was very helpful. Im looking forward to staying again soon.

My previous reviews of this place were all for "Vital Suites Bar", which is the bar / restaurant attached to this aparthotel. I went to this restaurant several times over the years, more for the views from the terrace than for the cuisine. Eventually I stopped going because the food was just so-so. Today I invited for lunch two friends (basically for the view) who hadn't been there before and they were wowed by it. I am happy to say that the food was far better than on any of my visits in the past. I had a tuna confitado salad that was sublime. The wine was also better than before. Both of my friends were very happy with their dishes. I could not call the service efficient, but our over-worked waiter did his best and was so genuinely charming and helpful, which more than made up for any delays. After all, this is a holiday resort and we had all the time in the world. So, a big thank you to our so kind waiter and congratulations to the chef de cuisine. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Gran Canaria in August.
