When I first walked into our room at La Casa de Bovedas I was a bit at a loss for words. I live in Paris where 60€ will get you a mildewy 9 sqm hole. We travel to Spain relatively often and are aware of its affordability but our stay at Bovedas took value for your money to a whole...

Our experiences echo those of other reviewers - a lovely guesthouse, very atmospheric and comfortable, clean and comfortable rooms. Both Remi and Cecilia are charming, and enjoy chatting to their guests. Arcos too is a lovely little town.

What a pleasant surprise. The place is in the old city in an old house. It is very special, charming and like home. The hosts are welcoming and very helpful with informations. The view from the rooms is fantastic. The decor is very Spanish. The whole house is a gem. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruits, tomatoes , toast , jams,...

Thanks for your kind review! If this town does not have the narrow, labyrinthine streets, amid white-walled houses, built in the top of the mountain, would not have the special charm, nor as wonderful views that have the white villages of Spain! A special greeting from Arcos!!!

This is a very pleasant place to stay. It's delightful old building, wonderfully preserved and the owners seem to truly enjoy entertaining their guests. It's located in the historic part of town, near the cathedral and, more importantly for us, many fine tapas bars. The view of the countryside from the rooms is precious. Much of the charm of Arcos...

Thanks for your kind review! If this town does not have the narrow, labyrinthine streets, in the top of the mountain, would not have the special charm, nor as wonderful views that have the white villages of Spain! For drivers who lose their tempers, I recommend climbing ride, but these streets passing an urban minibus, the garbage truck slowly and...

I had a few wonderful days in this hotel in Arcos de la Frontera. A guest house providing harmony and a special atmosphere in every corner and every room, each of them decorated in a different style. Great view over the lake, great service, I really felt like home there! Having breakfast on a fresh summer morning, with the smell...

The host of Casa de Bovedas, Remi, has poured a lifetime of life experiences into his wonderful guesthouse. We did not have the chance to meet his wife, but together they have clearly put a lot of love and attention into creating one the most wonderful guest houses I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. A genuine and...

Charming B&B with beautifully decorated and clean rooms and an authentic Spanish feel. We stayed there with our family of five (one infant, a three and six year-old) and had a great time. As other reviewers have said, our hosts only added to the charm and were so personable and helpful. Our boys still talk of the nicknames Remy gave...

We highly recommend staying at this very special house. We are very experienced global travelers in our late 60s and were extremely pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Casa Bovedas. Very authentic and artistic, but the best part are the owners who are very willing to help you and share information. Cecilia recommended a great restaurant in Benamahoma La Fuente...

Casa Bovedas is a hidden gem in the narrow streets of the Casco Antiguo of Arcos de la Frontera. It's a quiet, charming place in harmony with the Andalusian architecture that really gives you a warm feeling of being home. The hospitality of the host, the passion for his "Casa" and the Andalusian culture gives an extra dimension to this...

Exquisitely and idiosyncratically restored house in the old town centre. Very much to our liking. We had a beautifully furnished, comfortable and spacious room on the road side with our own lounge and a little balcony with lovely views .Remy, our host, was welcoming and a mine of useful information. Fresh fruit at breakfast was a welcome inclusion. Don't try...
