We are on a weeks holiday in schladming a wonderful place. On our first night we walked past the hotel and restaurant, outside was a blackboard with a three course meal advertised for €11.80. The main menu on the wall was also translated to English, and not been great German speakers this was very appealing. I must admit I didn't... More

Cannot speak highly enough about this hotel, the management and staff are all fantastic. The Hotel is immaculately clean, the food is brilliant, I cleared every plate and I am a really fussy eater. The Hotel's bar prices are reasonable which is why we used it a lot. The location couldn't be better and I cannot recommend this hotel any... More

Spotless, hotel, with fantastic staff, modern rooms and delicious food. Cannot wait to return!! Six of us enjoyed a week in this family run hotel celebrating my sons 40th birthday. Everybody was so helpful and friendly. The position is perfect, right in the heart of town near the Planai and close to the great apres ski bars. Highly recommended

Hotel has been newly refurbished and the rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. 4 course evening meal with choice of mains. Great waiting and bar staff. Walking distance to the Planai. Nice little bar Only slight downside is there isn't a separate lounge to chill out in. Other than that can't go wrong and is excellent value for money. Have... More

Fabulous and friendly family run hotel with very helpful staff. The room was great - very modern and newly refurbished - a perfect contrast to the traditional style of the hotel so the best of both worlds. A central location just 5 mins walk from the Planai gondola which has the best lockers and locker room we have ever seen.... More

Rooms are very nice and comfortable. You cannot hear any noise from other rooms, which is good. Breakfast is good too. Walkig distance to the Planai Gondola, several restaurants few steps away from the hotel. Friendly staff. Glad to recommend others to stay.

Stayed her several times and it just gets better, renovated rooms, sufficient breakfast and choice of evening meals with vegetarian option on request. Beatrix and Micheal are lovely hosts and the waiters work so hard to make your stay enjoyable. Good location with short walk to lift, perfect hotel for a great resort worth visiting.

We stayed for a week skiing and found the hotel extremely comfortable and welcoming. Everyone of the staff and the family who own the hotel were always available and willing to help. The main "half-board" dining room is overly bright and feels a bit like an office canteen, although the food was fine. We asked to upgrade to the al... More

Stayed here for one week during Jan 14. This is not a Bed an Breakfast per trip advisors rating. It isa hotel. Stayed here with 2 friends. We all had single rooms and got 7 nights half board including full area ski pass for €750 each, or £620 which was good value. Breakfast was better than average for Austria. Plenty... More

We (7 guys in our 50s from Scotland) stayed for a week in Jan 2014 and had an excellent time. On arrival, we were concerned that it seemed a bit old fashioned and maybe not what we were expecting. However, it was ideal for our stay. Great location, right on the main (pedestrian) street and near lots of bars and... More
